    sorry for reviving dead thread 😥 but to what port should I try? just random? the desktop app on 2nd PC connects with sim via simconnect very well and it actually generates fcr file fyi.

    I uninstalled the codec and installed again, but 32-bit version too at this time. Then, the installer didn't quit itself. 😵

    That's the point, I CANNOT skip it because the prompt(the first screen shot) keeps popping up. Edit: and if I click "no", the installer quits itself.

    The installer keep asking me to install x264 codec even it is installed already. (remove previous version is inactive when it is not installed, which means it is installed) https://ibb.co/YP3KzLR https://ibb.co/LPst6Y5
