  1. Thanks John, I guess I will wind up writing a batch file to fix this. Unfortunately I am to familiar with their electric fence issue regarding the WX engine and the SDK.
  2. Hi John or Pete. Is it possible to add an additional custom Autosave option to save the Weather section in the .FLT file in a way where the loaded Saved flight gives access to the weather option icon in the MSFS toolbar menu where the user knows real weather is still being used and also gives access to be able to manually set your time of choice or back to real time which is what I actually use myself if continuing a saved or even crashed flight? Currently (SU9) time can only be set in hourly increments when only in Dev Mode in MSFS which in turns also disables any flight logging in the logbook. From: [Weather] UseWeatherFile=False UseLiveWeather=True WeatherPresetFile= WeatherCanBeLive=False CloudmapPosOverride=False CloudmapInitialPosX=0 CloudmapInitialPosY=0 FixedClouds=False To: Optional [Weather] UseLiveWeather=True WeatherCanBeLive=True
  3. 5.123c was preventing my dropdown menus from sticking in 4.2. Going back to 5.123b is working fine without any issues.
  4. I was getting constant crashes also with 4.957 and 3.4. Setting WeatherReadFactor=0 helped. FSX Boxed is ok.
  5. Did you try posting the the FSC forum area? http://forum.simflight.com/forum/75-fs-commander-support-forum/ This is for FSUIPC support and I can confirm 8.6 and 9.5 work with 4.934a The aircraft position goes to 0/0 when you are on the freeflight screen.
  6. There is a link right here in the forum also. http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66139-updated-modules/
  7. Hi Pete, Can you contact me when you get time at the Support Desk at HiFi. Nothing major. http://support.hifitechinc.com/ -Dave
  8. The xxx miles from destination option would get my vote. I tried looking at that iwillbeback source code but it was pretty much chinese to me.
  9. Is there a toggle for automixture or is it just accessable via realism settings? TIA Dave
  10. Thanks , yes i found out that was the culprit. I really don't remember activiating that log. All of a sudden I was getting low disk space errors from that log file after leaving FSX idling for a few days on pause. I've had alot to do at work and probably from lack of sleep.
  11. Is FSUIPC writing a simconnect0.log to the C:\ directory? And if so can it be turned off?
  12. Is there a quick way to center the Elevator Trim via anything? Key, Joy button ?? Third hand??
  13. What i did with mine, it was a little screwy also was lower the sensitivty for the rudder axis in the FSX settings and in crease the null zone a little bit. My AC using a logitech wingman forcefeedback with the rudder being controlled thu the handle twist would always turn hard to the left and there was a gap where the rudder would go real hard left till there was pressure so to speak on the twist then it would flip back a little and work normal. So changing the sensitivty settings seemed to help it. After that I did calibrate the rudder also with FSUIPC and checked the filter option on the axis. Whether that actually helped improve matters I'm not really sure but it works ok now. Just a note though this was a problem even before I started using FSUIPC .
  14. Coincidence in timing. It turned out to be bad server data on ASX's side that they have corrected.
  15. Latley Im seeing TAT's in upwards of 70C while on the ground. Also getting them from ATIS. When i refresh the ASX weather it goes back to normal for a minute or so then the temps start rising again and my altimeter starts going a little cuckoo, not sure if this is an ASX data issue or maybe an FSUIPC issue. This has happened within the past week or so.
  16. Just some added info concerning SP1 and the betas, Ive been working alot this week and was still stuck on 4.241. Ive noticed a huge difference with the Level-D Aircraft. Managed 2 flights with absolutley no problems with the auto pilot going bonkers. Good performance too with Wilco 737's flying thru some major weather. BTW Im using ASX for the weather not the stock FSX weather. going to install 4.25 now and try a trans atlantic flight. Thanks Pete!!! :D
  17. Some feed back with this release is good. No crashes, no major wind flucuations and the IAS ratcheting has seemed to dissappear (SP1) :D No noticable difference with stutters weather <---- (Pun) the wind smoothing is enabled or disabled. Dave ESSB
  18. Sorry for this miss worded info. It was early. I was getting the MS FSX has encountered and error and needs to close box. I had put in .234 last night and flew for about 2 hours, (continuation of a previous flight with .231), got the error around the 2 hour mark. Re booted the machine hoping it was just that. Got it again after picking up on the latest fsuipc saved flight. settings for those are 600 seconds x 10. Shut down for the night. Checked the board this morning and saw 235 so gave it a go. Same error aroud the same place according to miles to go. Put 4.231 back in and picked up on the same FSUIPC saved flight and it was fine. I have the 3 boxes of wind smoothing checked on the left with your default #'s. Have been using the same settings since 4.219 which had the SP1 manifests added.
  19. Just for your info, on FSX SP1 WinXP 4.231 seems to work good. I tried .234,.235 and started getting some program crashes. FSX failed to respond errors at the exact same location. I put 4.231 back and it works fine. Dave ESSB
  20. Ah a little IAS ratcheting is an ok trade off for the wind fix. I'm glad it works as good as it does on this old jurassic park box.
