    Location for FS9 flight plans always defaults back too

    Hi Guys

    I have now uninstalled FSC8.6 and soley use FSC9.1 but I am having troubles choosing and keeping a file location in my ini file from the path that I want.

    I want to be able to save my FS9 plans in 1 location I have set the path thru open save as clicking on path then under FS Flight plans choose my location but every time I shut FSC down and reopen it the path reverts back to below

    FPPATH09=C:\Users\CRAIG\Documents\

    When I open save and click on Paths I alway get a window poping up saying the following FS9 flight plan folder unspecified! Choose <Flight Simulator Files> manually.

    I operate win764 FSC is installed in c: only and I did install as adminstrator.

    Is this a bug or not?

    I have even open my ini file and changed the path within but once I reopen FSC it reverts back to the above path.

    PACOTS not correctly saving in FSC

    Hi Volker

    I forgot to mention that I run 8.6 no need for 9.1 unless i move over to FSX. All I can say is that once the page is saved in my database folder when i try to open it with out FSC running i do not get the correct page fully loaded if that makes sence. I can see the txt where the tracks are but this will still freeze FSC when i load the tracks. I will relook at the manual later tonight.

    Hey Mike

    Thanks for the quick reply but I am still having problems saving with the correct format of that page. Due to some active X problem it will not load the page correctly. When I load the tracks from with in FSC it locks up the programme and will not load the tracks at all. i am getting a warning that internet explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or activeX controls that could access your computer click here for details.

    How to you save your page within the database folder?

    Hi Guys I was wondering if some one can help me out here. I run FS9.1 on a win7 OS. I have FSC running over my network. My problems it with the PACOTs site. I have the correct site and it is in FSC.

    My problems begins when I save the webpage. I have try all available formats of “save” according to the oher post I have read as but this is what I get when I reload the page from with FSC database folder. (see attachment)

    When I load FSC, the dropdown menu under tracks has the Pacots gosted therefore I cannot select any tracks.

    Is there something that I am not doing correctly a setting I need to change?

    Hi Pete

    just a quick question can I edit or I should I say add buttons to the ini file directly or do I still have to assign all the buttons thru the FSUIPC menu in Fs itself. Reason I ask is that I need to reprogramme a couple of joysticks with a hat switch. I would fine it easier to directly edit the ini file it would save a bit of time

    Ok change the general settings to yes for profiles and substring but to know avail when I choose a profile any button I press is not showing a key board command. I did disconnect all usb devices earlier not sure if that has anything to do with why i cant get my profiles back I also did a reload of button and axis but that has not helped either. here is the current ini file and 1 profile

    Thanks Pete

    and yes you were right it was a button conflict. It was near the top of the file so I did not have to spend to much time copying and pasting. My only other problem after I restored my ini file I now have to realod all the axis and button settings. As I fly about 5 different aircraft this is a pain because it will take time to sort out all the buttons and switches.

    Now I have not made any changes to my ini file I only remove 1 line in the buttons section that was casuing the viewing problems. When I look at the ini file it seem to be all there here is a copy I will try a reload again and see if that helps but I think I am gona spend the next few hours assigining all my buttons and switcches

    Hi pete Just got my goflight TQ-6 back from repairs today and when connected it up an ran FS9, in the 2D panels all aircraft, I can only view forward and up. In 3D it the pans around the flight deck continusely. At first I thought I had assigned a key/button by accident but I have check my profiles both for general and specific aircraft and to know avail. I have deleted all axis assigments in FS9. So all commands run thru FSPUIC.

    Now when I remove the FSUIPC.dill from the moduals folder FS9 is ok the view is forward and in 3D veiwing is normal and I can use my hat switch ok. But then I cant use the goflight hardware or anything else.

    I am running registered version 3.911 I am wondering wether I should do a complete re-inhstall of FSUIPC? Any thought on the mater

    Hi Peter i have just recently overhauled my fs setup and settings I have now switched from specfic a/c to profiles. Now for the most pasrt all is well all the a/c I use have been set up ok. Even Level D except for 1 a/c that uses DXt txtures it will not accept any Level D profile at all I have gone into the ini file and copied and paste the verious settings I have even made up a new profile for the DXT a/c but to no avil. I have the lastest version of FSUIPC. Any thoughts?

    Hi Pete

    I have read the following Trouble with Flaps by John Veldthuis on Wed Oct 22, 2008 9:47 pm I do ave the same problem I use a registered version 2.85 but I noticed when I reinstalled version 2.75 the flap problem went away with my PMDG 744 So I guess I will stick with version 2.75 my only other question is, what is the file name of where we store all the buttons and switch settings I have so many planes set up I dont want to lose all my settings when I go back to version 2.75.

  19. PPS B757-200 key programming

    Hi guys can anyone tell me the relvant keys to programme or too use.

    I am running the PPS B757-200 and I want to programme my CH Pro yoke with the following commands.

    AP disengauge bar( not the master AP switch)

    AT dissconnect

    HDG Sel button

    Toga switch

    I am not sure what keys pps use for these switches if i set the commands with FSPUIC buttons & switches on the right then nothing happens and when i choose the key commands on the left I am not getting the right responce.

    Hi guys I am in tne process of switching all my yokes pedals all thru FSPUIC. I am usuing the PMDG 744 with FS2CREW and also the TQ-6 from goflight my only problem so far is I am not sure how to set the thrust reverser switches i cant seem to find anything in the list when u assign the switch to a FS funtion. It is not an axis so I have only the button amd switches page to look at can anyone make some suggestions please.

    Also How can i assign a switch on my CH yoke to FS2CREW 744 for the main and secondary button I want to use the ruddar trim switch on the yoke as I now need the other button for something else. the programme tell you to set the "increase decision hight (concorde)" which I have but I cannot find that exact button thru FSPUIC? and suggestions.
