  1. Thanks Pete for your reply. The INI file had no [Axes]. Your reference to "Axis..set" in dropdown list made me realize that I had taken the change in axis input against the appropriate axis X, Y, R etc as setting it. I had bypassed the illustration on p.37 by misunderstanding it as being only for more than one axis on a control. I have now calibrated, [Axes] are in INI, and the controls are working. With regard to sensitivity, it was what I had done using earlier versions and the reference on p.41 that it was useful to set maximum sensitivity to get maximum benefit. Once again, thanks for jogging my aging grey matter. John.
  2. I run FS9. Recently I updated to FSUIPC3.74 (registered) and decided it was a good time to change some of my assignments. I removed all previous assignments, and made new assignments of buttons and axes using "Send to FS as normal axis". All button assignments are OK; flaps etc. work. Axes assigned #1 Throttle, aileron, elevator, mixture, prop; #0 rudder, differential brakes. When I go into Joystick calibration, the numbers remain static; and none of the controls work on the plane. When I tried to see what might be the problem, I found that Sensitivity had reverted to low, although I had set to maximum. There appears to be no way it will remain at maximum unless I assign the axis in FS itself. I have read though Assignment and Calibration many times, and there does not seem to be anything that I have missed. I also tried Map to 4 throttles in Calibration but again there was no response. While I am happy to revert to direct FS assignment, I note on p. 35 "the best way forward is to....program all buttons and axes in FSUIPC". Any help would be appreciated. John
