  1. I see them now. Could not before, The RED X box was there before.

It looks similar alright. And your shorelines are squared. I did not have that at KCLM. Just thinking here. What scenery downloads do you have in the area? Also, I had some weird white boxes at KPWT, Bremerton. Maybe that got fixed with Holger's suggestion. I'll have to look. If not, there is a newer version out. Do you have KPWT? There really isn't a lot of downloads that I know of right close to KSEA except KPWT

Don't give up. I will scratch my brain a little also. I'm sure someone will

    come up with the answer.

  2. Thanks Holger. I do have that carrier out there. After looking around, that

carrier appears to be one of 18. I have the bgl files for it and will remove for now the ones in the scenery folder and see what happens. I do not have the other Vancouver Island scenery that you mentioned.

I am not really into carrier operations but one thing it will do is hone your

landing skills. You are either on or not. Kind of interesting but intense. I'm getting too old for that " stuff ", LOL.

I'll get back to you sir on my problem here. I am working on it now.

    Thanks again. :D

  3. I have been asking around about this runway problem at KCLM. It seems

that the runway and taxiways are above ground level after relooking again after this pic was taken. I unchecked several scenery downlaods in the scenery library and the problem remains. The downloads I have in the area are, Misty Fijords of course  , Victoria-Ogden Point, KPWT-

    Bremerton, Orcas Island.

Any thoughts on this. The pic URL is below. Thankyou.

  4. Peter. I downloaded all the files as per your instructions, but still have the 737 panel. The DMFS folder is in the Aircraft folder, but as I look at the panel folder for the trident, the only file in there is the panel.cfg. Also the same with the sound folder. Should I go to the DMFS folder and drop those panel and sound folder into their respective locations?? Seems I should. Sorry if I am asking too many questions, but I try to follow instructions in the readme's etc. to the letter, and so far I did. Sometimes the " readme's " leave a lot to be desired. I'm sure I can figure it out and maybe already have, and I will do as I stated above if i don't hear from you soon. A lot of folks would just give up on downloads if instructions are not precise and they get frustrated. Thanks for the help. The Trident looks like it may be a nice one with many operating functions. That's what I like, as close to real as possible.

  5. I was working with a friend this morning on the Trident download. Both of us are having troubles with the panel. At first it was a 737 panel. So I did a flight plan or maybe it was create a flight, and then the panel shows up with no guages and still looks to be a 737. I then went and downloaded the panel zip, put it in and still a 737 panel. any pointers here? Other downlaods i have done before and they all seem to go right in. Thanks.

  6. Well first off the picture of the mountain and then the logo Rhode Island popping in, in front of it is nice but, looks like Mt. Rainier to me

I do fly to PVD a lot and I must say they have the terminal and surrounding are almost perfect with the parking garage and the open parking area, the roads leading into the terminal as well. Where is a link to their site? Looks like another excellent piece of work to me.

  7. Alaska is 9 hours difference from GMT.

    http://www.timetemperature.com/tzus/alazone.shtml

When I first started flying in Alaska, While flying my route, all of a sudden the sim started going through it's changes like I had reset the time or date. It took me awhile to figure it out and I posted messages about it. Others, not all, had the same problem, and in other areas of the northern hemisphere. Finally I was given a download to try and stop my sim from going through the time, scenery, a/c etc, changes. It is called FS Realtime.Problem solved with that. So now when I pass through a time zone, the green banner in the sim comes on and tells me for instance, +9 GMT. IN THE SIM, it appears they have the panhandle of Alaska at 8 hours difference from GMT. NOT REAL. I would guess it is a programming problem in the sim. When I flew the lower 48 states, the sim did NOT change while flying through the time zones. Actually in Alaska, say from PANC to PAVD, the time would change several times one way or the other. A pain to keep track of flight time.

  8. In the last couple of years I have been doing some traveling, finally, lol. I have been to Mexico, Hawaii, and the British Virgin Islands. They are all very nice, the waters are warm as well as the weather, BUT, Alaska, was the most impressive ( Inside Passage ). As a kid I lived outside Fairbanks for a couple years. It was ok, and fishing is good, but the panhandle is the most scenic, although I haven't been to the Aleutians, so I don't know about there.

If you liked Matthews pictures, you will love to go there by what I've read in your posts. Save the money and GO!!!!!! Another option is the Alaska Ferry system. They do the same trip but probably not into the fijords like Tracey Arm, FANTASTIC!!!! I think the ferries run from Seattle, almost positive. Look them up on the web.

The prices are somewhat high on the cruise ships, but the food is free and plenty of it. I never got bored on the trip. Entertainment all the time.

here are some prices to give you an idea for the cruise lines. This happened to be NCL ( Norwegian ). Interior cabins are the cheapest, no view.

    Interior>>$1100 and up. Oceanview>>$1400 & up.

    Oceanview balcony>>$1600 & up. Suites>>2650 & up

For 2 people double occupancy, 7 days

They treat you like royalty, especially if you get a suite ( butler included )

Sometimes if you call them you may get a better deal.

" Go for it " you won't regret it. Take lots of pictures so you can go back in your mind.
