Recently my navigation map part of the GPS process went missing. Volker suggested that a solution maybe to reset FSC.exe in the tools section. But along with that comes a warning.
Not wanting to take a chance I am hoping to get some guidance on solving this problem. I am running FSC 9.6 ver 7. My computer information is below.

Just a note to let you know that I reinstalled FS Commander following the instructions and all is well. I also updated FSUIPC to the latest version.

Another problem came to light. While trying to get FS Commander to load I received the following notice;
Databases for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 missing or incomplete!
Please choose different FS version or run database manager first.
What could have caused that?

Sorry for not providing details.
- My Sim is P3D v3.3
- FSUIPC Version 4.948 e (Registered)
- No Network
- FSC and Database Manager both are 9.6 Rev7 Net - Build: May 20, 2016
- This is new to me. I use FSC for flight plans
- Download version from your website
- Operating system is Windows 10
- I use 3 Monitors. The main one (Phillips 4K 40") for the flight sim) the other two for FSC, Vpilot etc
A really curious thing happened. I reloaded my Database Manager for the second time and after that finished, I activated FS Commander and now the problem I had has disappeared. However the following notice came up during that process. "File not found or no access. Search for folder file C:Program Files (86) Lockheed Martin\Prepare3D\V3\Scenery|world\Scenery in the FSCDBM_FS Log File! I continued and all sems to work. The VR in the path - C:Program Files (86) Lockheed Martin\Prepare3D\V3\Scenery|world\Scenery - is not available in my system. I do have the following seperate from the previous path - C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3Scenery\BASE\Scenery - that refers to a single BGL file "timezone.bgl"
I hope that can be corrected.

After updating to 9.6 ver 7, I can no longer enter a route in FSC. When typing it will not respond although it appears to affect P3D v3.3 by changing views. I have FSC on one Monitor and run P3D on another. I had no problems in the past. When I shut down P3D I can enter data without problems however that is obviously useless. I suspect I am or have done something wrong and would appreciate any idea that might fix this problem.

I have been trying to figure out how to send a screenshot to the forum. I know it is doable but I have not figured out how.
Any help will be appreciated.

I installed Heron's Nest latest version but have significant elevation problems. Viva.dll error notice comes up as well every time I start-up P3D v3.
I have a picture / screenshot but have not figured out how to send it. Please let me know how I can do that and it will follow.

Thank you for the download. While I was able to download it, I can not install it.
This may be because I have P3D v3.1 installed.
I get the following warning
.
This module "viva_P3D.dll" has not been tested for compatibility with the FS version you have installed.
Your FS version is 3.1.2.15831
If you run the module, it may cause problems or a crash.
Run the module now?
So I better figure out how to uninstall it and wait for the P3D v3.1 version.
But thanks Holger I look forward to upcoming versions.

OK all sorted out. I just typed in the registration number instead of cutting and pasting and it was accepted. This might be helpful to know for others.

I purchased FSC 9.6 and received my registration details.
Installed and opened FSC 9.6 went to "About" and copied and pasted my name, e-mail address and registration number.
It would not accept it saying it was the incorrect information.
Please note it was copied and paste so there should not be any errors.
any ideas?

A strange thing happened. When starting FSC a small notice pops up - FSC Invalid Picture.
I thought I would uinstall FSC and reinstall it and I get an - Internal Error 2203.
It will not allow me to continue with uninstallation process. Any ideas please.

That was helpful and I found my registration information Simmarket merged my old purchase inf with my new one and voila there it was. Now I am searching for a place to download 9.2 from before updating to 9.2.1 as per your website http://www.fscommander.com/download.htm I tried downloading it from http://fscommander.c...fsc92update.zip but that did not work. In fact the address looks incomplete. Any help would be appreciated.

I really did it now. I uninstalled FS 9. Now I find that I can not find the site I purchased FS Commander from way back in 2010. I updated it in May 2012 to accommodate it in P3D. I checked Sim Market but no record of FS. Did you have another re-seller? Could I have purchased through your website if so would you have a record of that purchase. Sorry to ask you for this info. Incidentally even after the uninstall there is a lot of information still in my FS9 folder including a registration item which I can't open. Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Volker,
I recently installed the I Fly 737 and then a few days later their upgrade. While taking that plane for a flight from LSZH to EDDH I noticed that at way-points she would totally change headings and not as per the Flight-plan I am wondering if that is the problem. My thought is that I will uninstall and re-install FSC including Version 9.2.1. Before that I will give it another try with a plane that I did not give me any problems. I appreciate your prompt response to my query..

Hi Volker,
A few days ago my Auto Heading stopped showing information after entering a flight plan. The small screen is black. The former descriptions such as Gen, ILS , ARR... etc do not show up anymore although the Auto-heading button still responds and allows the aircraft to follow the flight-plan Another curious thing is that I can no longer save the plan. It can no longer find the path.

Hi all,
I am one of the FSC9 owners who had problems with GE. This situation has been corrected and I for one appreciate the actions of Dougal and Michael among others to highlight the problems. My hat is off to Sascha & Volker and Kelvyn to find a solution to this problem in such a timely fashion.
