Hi, Is it possible to capture if there are any radio transmission on the frequency tuned in the radios like NAV1 and NAV2. For eg if I am connected to a Center on freq 123.45, I want to know if any transmission was made on that frequency to my aircraft. Is this possible? Thanks, Vincent

I want to write a very simple application and its supposed to help me track my flying hours. What I need is when I start at the gates, I will start my application too. It should record the icao code of the source and then log all my flight times and then finally when I stop at my destination, it should log my destination ICAO code and then compute the time. I am able to read the time and thus make the calculation, but I am not able to find the following 1. current ICAO code where the aircraft is stationed 2. Whether the plane is airborne or back on the ground!! I am coding in C# using the SDK provided with FSUIPC. I am also able to read the information of heading, Altitude, IAS, these are some of the things I have tried. But I got stuck on how to read the ICAO code. I will be using GPS flight plan for most of my flights. Any help / hint / code snippets would help great!!

Thanks Pete. So understanding from what you said, I can download the FSUIPC from the site and develop application with the same. I did see that the registration costs some amount, if the said application that I am developing is to be used by others in the VA, will that be possible. Sorry to bother you again on this. Thanks

Pete, I had a query regarding FSUIPC. I wanted to build an application which would track the airplane and the airports to which it flies, in other words interact with FS 2004 application. I have seen applications using FSUIPC and doing the same. What does it take to do one similar application? I was thinking of developing the same to help a couple of friends who have a vision to make a Virtual Airline and this tool was to be the flight tracking software. Do I need to buy FSUIPC for the same or is it possible that I can develop it using the free FSUIPC without registration. The above said application will be free and will not be sold at any cost.
