The other items of Autopilot follow Microsoft Autopilot , as Course , Air Speed and Heading have the same offset of Microsoft Autopilot. Is it possible to have in one gauge different concepts ?
Of course, they can program it how they like. Maybe they didn't like the way the FS A/P controlled vertical modes, but were happy with the horizontal control. You'd have to ask the authors.

I'm developing a software, a weather gen, I succeeded to set global weather (pressure, winds, visibility) into FS2K2, but I never be able to set clouds into FS, I tried using both local weather address and global weather address, and I can see the values I wrote using FSInvestigate, it is correctly (I saw it on factored column), but the clouds in sim still didn't changed at all. Do you have any idea what caused this? I'm using latest FSUIPC 2975 (if I'm correct).
Please use the FSUIPC weather logging (see Technical page) to help figure out what is happening. Maybe also enable IPC write logging. If you need me to check it, zip the appropriate log and send it as an attachment. Try to keep it short, please.

Am I missing the taxi light option in the keyboard assignment tab ?
All FS controls and then some can be assigned to buttons or keystrokes in FSUIPC's Buttons and Keys pages. The Taxi light switch is "Toggle Taxi Lights".

Stop cockpit sizing and moving does not work. in earlier times it was OK. Latest version. Today installed. FS also today re-installed. I'am sure I 'am doing wrong something, but what ?
Probably just not reading the documentation well enough? . Sorry, but I couldn't resistyou'll see it explains that this cannot work, in fact never did work, if you have Windows options set to show windows whilst moving them. I think XP defaults this on, for example.

I am trying to know the offset for AP Altitude and AP Vertical Speed for Dream Fleet DF 737-400, but up to now without sucess. :(
If they do not use the Microsoft Autopilot for these things then there will be no "offset". The A/P variables will likely be maintained internally to their A/P gauge.

with widefs can i use the advanced program pss/747 and put the extra components like , fsnavigator, fsmeteo, radar contac, and the most important of all , say like the over head panel can i display it on the second com, and also the pedestal, and radio panel etc.
FSMeteo and Radar Contact V3 -- yes.
FSNavigator, and panel components -- no.
The latter are not separate programs but only modules of FS and cannot run except inside FS. There are separate instrument sets, such as Project Magenta (payware) and FreeFD (freeware) which you could investigate. There are links on the Schiratti site.

I have successfully setup FS Widescreen and am using FSMeteo and FS Flight Tracker on another computer. Next I wanted to try Squawkbox. I can start FSScrollChat, SBHost and Squawkbox. When I try to connect to a VATSIM server I get and illegal operation message.
Sorry, I really know nothing about Squawkbox or VATSIM. Possibly SB is assuming it is talking to FS2000 or even FS98? The Multiplayer protocol changed between some FS versions.
If no one else here can help I would suggest you might get better help with the Squawkbox folks. Do they have a forum or support site?
Regards.

How about a subscription service? One that costs the user say $5 per year to get all the latest FSUIPC updates. Then for the folks that cannot afford it. ie students or low income households, maybe a version of FSUIPC that could displays adds paid for by other flight sim companies?
Interesting idea. Thanks. I'll bear it in mind.

Where in the advanced key functions of FSUIPC can i find an entry to toggle autorudder on and off?
In the drop-down for either Keys or Buttons -- the controls are called "Autocoord Off", "On, "Set" and "Toggle". Auto rudder was always called AUTO COORDINATION internally in FS and the control names they assigned reflect that.

I was flying from Miami to Grand Cayman, when over cuba the visibilty went unlimited all the way to my destination, I limited visibility to 30 miles maximum and at altitudes of 37K at 35 miles. Can anybody help me?
Using local or global weather -- i.e. where is your weather source? Also I would need to see your FSUIPC.INI file (from the FS Modules folder). You can also enable "weather logging" in FSUIPC's Technical page -- it will produce a file called FSUIPC.LOG which may also be useful, but take care as it can get very large. Always Zip anything you send unless very small. Thanks,
Pete

I imagine that Pete will implement the shutdown in such a way that it uses SHUTDOWN on Win9X and POWEROFF on NT.
Yes. In fact I got this working okay just before I went on holiday, but didn't have time to make a release with it included. I'll try to get an interim update out soon, before I plough back into FS9 work.

Anyone know how flightmax and some other addons get data on the relative locations, densities, dimensions, etc. of clouds for weather radar?
There's no way at all to get the actual FS cloud graphics locations, in any version of FS. I think that's pretty far off (according to MS). All any weather radar can do it make a sort of representation based on the METAR station reports within its range. It will be doing that from the METAR reports, either in a .WX file, or from one of the weather programs.

i not find offset of fsuipc that gives the necessary information me that AP DISENGAGE is pressed, and I cannot therefore activate the corresponding LED of my panel.
FS does not simulate a separate A/P disengage control, only the A/P on/off switch itself (as operated by the Z key by default, or the A/P switch in the gauges). The offset for the switch state is 07BC (A/P Master Switch).
If you have built an MCP with a disengage switch/bar then the logic should switch the AP master off, if it is on, and, if you have a LED as you say, light it. When the Disengage switch is in the Off position you should of course disable your AP button(s).

Oops! forgot - dickev@internetcds.com
Sorry, forgot where? This is the only message in this thread. If you want to append messages to previous messages you need to stay in thread, otherwise it is just all disjointed and meaningless.
