  1. Hi there, Please could you help? I recently downloaded this Lua Code document for the Airbus X and although some of the parameters function by configuring the buttons via FSUIPC I can't seem to configure the EFIS - Knob for controlling the Arc, Rose etc view and the knob next to it that controls the zoom increments!! Are there any codes for these within the text file as discussed above or is there a seperate code for these somewhere within this forum? Hope this makes sense? Im looking to build an A320 Cockpit with the use of Aerosofts Airbus X as its main software!! Therefore I am making sure that the planes functions can respond to my button controls via FSUIPC before agreeing on using it in full. Oh and I also noticed that there werent any coding for the MCDU buttons??? Hope you can help, Kind regards Jay
  2. I currently have the most recent version of FSUIPC and want to purchase the latest WideFs module. Am I entitle to a cheaper purchase since I bought FSUIPC May 2008? Does WideFs have a demo I can try and does WideFs have the ability to control gauges over a network. For instance - I run WideFs on my server pc along with FSX and run the client.exe on a seperate pc which also runs FSX with the same plane. A bit like Wideview but effecting the gauges and not the scenery? Kind regards James
  3. Cheers for the reply. Much appreciated, another lesson learnt! Jay
  4. Hi Pete Might seem a really basic question!! After mapping a switch to action a basic light on and off command, how can I make sure that on loading FS that the hardware switch is in sync with the one on the sims panel? In other words, if I close down FS and didnt turn the switch off then upon re-loading the switch would appear in the opposite direction and action the on/off sequence back to front?!! Is there something within the program which recognises hardware positions upon startup? Or is it just a case of making sure I turn this switch to its off position before FS shutdown. Cheers J
  5. I was instructed by your Website (http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html) to purchase the most current version at Sim Market. Which is what I did and it's version 4.26.!! So not sure how that works?!! I understand that PMDG is an addon so if I want to resort to key mapping in order to get full control of the PMDG 747's functions, how can I do this if the key mouse trapping function is not available with the version I have purchased? You must get a lot of questions Peter but I am grateful for your response, its all a learning curve eh!! Regards Jay
  6. I'm a bit stuck!! I was lucky enough to go visit Ian Sissons in Oswestry the other week and see his fabulous 737NG setup. Since then I purchased FSUIPC version 4.26. Now I have some knowledge and understanding of hardware controlling software but I cant seem to map the appropriate keys for use with PMDG 747. Am I being stupid or is it that the functions in the crop donw menu simply dont activate the functions in the PMDG program? Ian explained that the bulk of his key programs were done using mouse trapping but this is part of a different version of FSUIPC and is relevant to FS9. So I would love someone to enlighten me on this subject as I have some interface boards setup but cant seem to map the keys to operate any of the PMDG's functions except the really basic keys such as strobe!! In order for me to work on a proper cockpit build, I would need to get all the keys mapped but it seems impossible unless I have the mouse trapping function!!! Any advice from anyone with some good knowledge or indeed Peter himself and I would be most grateful??? Jaystar
