The FS panel shows and hold the correct heading, probably it is on the Enrico side. I'm not using A/P beta. I asked about FSUIPC only to know if could be something about smoothing winds, etc...but I'll wait for an Enrico answer... Thanks for the feedback,

Hi Pete, Maybe you have an idea about what is going on: Project Magenta...(only happens with winds) In HDG SEL mode if I select HDG 040 aircraft flies HDG 038. If I set HDG 190, aircraft flies HDG 192. If I'm flying at HDG 010 and I PAUSE FS2004, the ND map rotate to the left 3 degrees, so HDG in ND shows 013, when I release the PAUSE it goes back to 010. The offsets change with different winds strength, strong side wind = larger HGD offset. Maybe there is something in FSUIPC that can help on this... Thanks,

This is from PFD.ini doc: StartElecOff=On/Off - switches the displays off on startup sets 0x510 bit 0 to 1 on startup - displays are reactivated when bit 0 is reset or any keyboard key is pressed So I'm setting this ON and all my PM displays start OFF, good ! My problem is to turn it ON :) In FSUIPC I assigned a keypress to PM Elect ALL Toggle. When I press it the displays turn ON but if I press again they go OFF and I can't turn they ON anymore. As I told before, the only way I found to simulate crossfeed without complex aircrafts with overheads panel (DF, 767PIC, PMDG, etc) is using the fuel selector... Command -> what is simulating Select ALL TANKS -> fuel pumps all on / crossfeed OFF Select CENTER TANK -> center fuel pump ON, left/right fuel pumps OFF / crossfeed OFF Select LEFT TANK -> left fuel pump ON, center/right fuel pump OFF / crossfeed ON Select RIGHT TANK -> right fuel pump ON, center/left fuel pump OFF / crossfeed ON

Hi, In real world (737), if you have fuel imbalance (lets say less fuel in left tank), the procedure is: Crossfeed OPEN make sure fuel pumps in right tank are ON turn OFF fuel pumps in left tank so right tank will fill all fuel system and correct the imbalance... I'm interested in know how cockpit builders simulate overhead panel if FS doesn't support many functions needed (hydraulics, crossfeed, APU, etc)

Luca, If you are looking for transfering fuel from one tank to another in FS, I couldn't find a way to do that and I guess crossfeed isn't used for that.

Hi, Reading a real 737 manual, if you use crossfeed open, both engines will be receiving fuel from all tanks and after some minutes probably you'll get a fuel imbalance, if crossfeed is closed, engine 1 will receive fuel from tank 1/center and engine 2 from tank 2/center. Using tank selector to ALL in FS will do almost the same thing as crossfeed open, but no fuel imbalance. Now in real 737 if you turn fuel pump off for a tank (usually 2 fuel pumps for tank) you won't get fuel from that tank. In FS selecting LEFT tank is like turning fuel pump OFF for center and right tanks. I guess fuel pumps in FS doesn't work in this way, because even it off the engines continues ON. In FS I can select center tank alone, but I'd like to have a way to select left and right tanks together (not center), but I guess it isn't possible.

Hi, In wideserver I load 2 softwares, so when FS2004 starts to load my other 2 softwares are loaded too. But the focus goes to the loaded software and I must click in the FS (task bar) to open it again. Is there a way to lock the focus in FS2004 ? Thanks,

Hi, I was trying to program a key (ctrl+1) for PM by parameter, value 6 (ctr pushbutton) and it wasn't working. Then I tried the same parameter in a joystick button and it worked. Finally I change the key to F12 and it worked too. My question is: why it works with F12 but not with CTRL+1 ??? Thanks,

Crossfeed Closed: isolates engine #1 and #2 fuel lines Crossfeed Open: connects engine #1 and #2 fuel lines I'm using fuel selectors to simulate it, so when I select ALL, all tanks feed all engines, LEFT, left tank feed all engines, RIGHT, right tank feed all engines. FS is very limited simulating systems, so I guess it is the best we can get right now, but not sure too....

Hi, Ready for take-off I downloaded real weather inside FS2004 (static weather, without 15 minutes updates). I read in many FS docs that we can get a smooth transition between weather stations, but I found while flying that some clouds pumps in and out, not a smooth transition. Probably it is a FS problem since everything is static, but anyway to stop the fast weather changes (clouds) ??? Thanks,

Hi, here is my experience: My magenta MCP and aerosoft MCP were running minimized in a client that had magenta PFD/ND installed. I was getting some stutters in PFD and I found that the data flow was: User touch a button in aerosoft MCP -> aerosoft sends command to FS computer -> through network FS sends command to magenta MCP in client -> through network MCP to FS computer -> through network FS computer to magenta PFD/ND (display changes mode) -> through network So a network traffic for a button press, than I tried to install aerosoft MCP hard+soft in FS computer (server) and it started to work very fast, but after 30 seconds the aerosoft EFIS stopped working and only the Baro knob was working... Today I did an additional test and installed magenta MCP in FS computer as well. Now the display updates and commands are very fast, PFD/ND is running smoother and I'm happy (until now :), now I believe the data flow is: User touch a button in aerosoft MCP -> aerosoft sends command to FS -> direct (same machine) FS sends command to magenta MCP -> direct (same machine) MCP to FS -> direct (same machine) FS computer to magenta PFD/ND (display changes mode) -> through network My network is 100T using a linksys switcher, the FS computer is a AthlonXP2400+, 1gbRAM, winXP Pro, TCP/IP, Radeon 9800pro. I suggest you to leave the PFD/ND client running alone and move the magenta MCP to FS (as me) or CDU computer. I hope this helps,
