[FSUIPC 4.03 and GFDevFSX problem]

Whether there's a separate solution which can be implemented in the GoFlight driver, I don't know. Hopefully, if the appropriate information is sent to GoFlight, they can also work out a way to avoid the problem. Since in this case it is the EXE crashing rather than FSX itself, it seems that a programmed recovery should be possible.

I've deactivate Goflight EXE bridge in EXE.XML file (Appalication Data/Microsoft/FSX folder).

And started manualy GF EXE Bridge when FSX is ready, and plane loaded by FLT.

It's work fine now.

[FSUIPC 4.03 and GFDevFSX problem]

Sine I've upgraded FSUIPC 4.02 to FSUIPC 4.03, when I launch FSX, GFDevFSX (Software Bridge to Goflight Modules) crash during initialisation processus.

When I close GFDevFSX.exe in "Windows Crash Error Dialog" FSX finish initialisation, and It avalaible, with all FSUIPC functions. But GoFlight Modules not work.

The only think I do in FSX was to upgrade FSUIPC 4.02 to FSUIPC 4.03.

Software : FSX RTM US version.

Golfight FSX capable drivers : 1.70

FSUIPC : 4.03 (registred)

Pete, have you heard same problem with another virtual pilote with same configuration ?

Can you tel me where I can download previous FSUIPC 4 version (4.02) ?

I want to force rain in FlightSim 2004, how to do that ? Witch memory offset I need to set to have rain ? (If clouds are compatible with rain of course).

I've see in FSUIPC SDK (Programers doc):

0x4CB for precipation rate

0x4CC for precipitation type

But this offset are in read only !

With FS2002 When clouds are compatibles with rain, I've wet conditions in FS, but now with FS2004 all are dry !

I'll send you all files and informations you resuqested. But later of this day. I'm on my job now, and (I don't know exactly why) my boss don't want I install FS here :lol:

So far, the only explanation I can come up with is that the actual DLL file, the FSUIPC.DLL, is not exactly as it was when it left here and is falling foul of some anti-tamper mechanism in the code. Either that, or the method used for this is not foolproof. But I can tell more from your answers, please.

Download DDLs files :

Create temporary folder

unzip all Zip files in this folder

Edit and change PILOTES.INI file.

Only change you need is : fs2004= where you enter the FS2004 path.

You don't need to change vr.ini it's preformated for you.

Run bn_vr.exe

The problem is juste after BN_VR.EXE connect to FSUIPC you don't need to launch all the process.

There's really no change between 3.06 and 3.07 in any area anywhere near the Key validation part, and your keys are not time limited so they will not expire. I don't understand why they should start failing nowthat is very odd.

I don't konw why, but the problem is here !! The only common thing is : All FS2004 version are French Version.

But all of pilots have FSUIPC 3.07 and haven't register your application (buy it) have acreditation problem.
