Pete, My apologies. The Simconnect folders are in Windows/SxS (where they should be) not in Windows/sys. Sorry. IT is not my day job! But interestingly, when I open the Simconnect folders in Windows/SxS, they are empty. I will study the rest of your reply to see if I can shed more light on the problem. Paul

I am running FSX on new computer (no other add ons installed) running on Vista - 64 bit. After installing FSX to default location and running FSX, I downloaded FSUIPC4/WIDEFS7 and ran installer, entering registration keys for FSUIPC4 and WIDEFS7. Received install OK message. However, "Add on" drop down in FSX does not appear. Ten FSUIPC files/folders appear in FSX modules folder, but FSX does not seem to be installed and/or operational. Have repeated several times, with no success.
