  1. Hah... that did it. my system clock on this new computer was set to Jan 07. I bought the key from simMarket on Nov 21, 2008. Everything works fine now. Thanks, bob
  2. Pete, Interesting results while working with Elite tech support... I basically reinstalled everything several times with the same results, but on the last time, I deleted the FSUIPC registration and everything works fine. I reregistered it and it stops working again? Any ideas? Is this a you issue or an Elite issue? Thanks Bob
  3. Pete, Per your request to post here? I am having trouble getting my elite pro panel console to be recognized by FSUIPC. When I first start up FSX, the console powers up. The flaps switch, trim switch and most buttons like starter seem to work fine. Just the Yoke, Throttle quadrant, gear handle and rudders do not have any response. I can however go under the add on menu to Elite Config and it allows me to calibrate the controls, in other words when I exercise the throttles, they show movement on the calibration screen and I am able to set them. However, when I go to the FSUIPC add on I do not see any values show up on the joystick calibration. In any case FSX does not respond to movements in the the console controls. Elite tech support gave me the following website for the latest driver; http://www.flyelite.com/flightsim. The Elite Driver comes with FSUIPC 4.0 but it did not install as the one I got was 4.40... Should I try installing the 4.0 version? I also tried installing the service pack 1 for FSX and the accelerator... the symptoms did not change. Thanks for the quick reply Bob
  4. Elite tech support gave me the following website for the latest driver; http://www.flyelite.com/flightsim. On the "Elite Config" under add-ons comment; I can select Elite Config under Add-ons and it allows me to calibrate the controls, aileron, elevator, etc... When I select FSUIPC, I do not see any interface when I move the controls or rudders. If I go to a throttle quardrant view of the cockpit, the levers do not move when I move them on the console, but I know the Elite driver is recognizing them just not the FSUIPC. The Elite Driver comes with FSUIPC 4.0 but it did not install as the one I got was 4.40... Should I try installing the 4.0 version? 5. I have an older Elite Pro Panel - Serial with a USB adapter. I have installed the Elite Driver, FSUIPC (Registered) and they both show in the FSX menu under add-ons. I can select the "Elite Setup" and all of the functions appear to work (rudders, yoke, power quadrant, radio panel, etc). FSX will not turn the "control" of those elements over to FSUIPC. When I do Elite setup, it says it finds a device on Com6 but no USB devices... will this cause the problem with FSUIPC? Thanks Bob
