  1. Had the trio mapped out with buttons and axes and all that. Had to move my laptop, so I unplugged all three, restarted the computer in the meantime, and when I hooked them back up/fired up FS9, it seems that most of the assignments are lost. The logfile shows repeated inputs of button 32, or whichever the hat switch "up" is. The view is trying to constantly pan up, which is what I had it mapped to previously. The hat switch commands were mapped generally to all aircraft, but the specific aircraft commands were lost. How can I fix/prevent this from happening? Do I have to go and recalibrate/reassign everything? The config file still shows all my aircraft assignments, strange that they just aren't recognized. EDIT: I tried remapping everything, recalibrating, still showing the same repeated input. A little confusion on my part, the yoke is assigned controller 0, controller 1 is actually the Tquad, and the logfile says button 32 from controller one is inputting. But the quad doesnt have a button 32 (right?). EDIT 2: After restarting a few more times, it seems to have resolved itself, not entirely sure what I did. Perhaps I switched the pedals/quad USB ports or something, or it just needed one more restart
  2. As it turns out, the idle detente of the throttle quad is a button, which I did not know, and throttle 1's detente "button" was set to view left. Managed to figure that out through the log file, thanks to you pointing me in the right direction. Thanks, Pete!
  3. I must admit that I don't really understand the nuts and bolts behind FSUIPC and whatnot, so I hate to add this to the forum, but I can't find an answer via search. Running FS9, Windows XP, CH yoke/pedals/quad. Just got them, and then bought FSUIPC 3.93 to help map out the controls. I have the quad set up for a two-engine piston aircraft (throttles/mixture/prop), pedals and yoke axes working fine. Assigned the yoke's three levers to spoilers, flaps, and aileron trim. I assigned the buttons on the quad to some lights and cowl vents, random things. Last step, I mapped out the hat switch on the yoke to pan up, pan up right, right, etc. all the way round. Then, when I went to the cockpit mode to check everything, as soon as I touch the hat switch or any lever or button on the quad, the view immediately goes to "left," be that looking out the left cockpit window, or in spot view, looking at the port-side wing. Tried setting the hat up switch to view forward, and it would not override the signal telling it to look left. I am at a complete loss- not sure why it would do that. Thanks all for the anticipated help! Brad
