  1. Hi Pete, indeed I tried again without using the raw mode and everything works perfectly. However, I should point out that it was not so obvious from the User Guide that raw mode is so strongly discouraged for normal controls. I didn't find any mention of the fact that it would produce wildly changing values, and I was rather led to believe that it was at least as good as the calibrated mode by the sentence "FSUIPC can use either. You’ll usually find that raw values are more honest in showing the true resolution of your device" and the possibility to skip a software layer seemed good. I think it could only help to make what you told me even more explicit in the guide. Anyway, sorry for not having experimented a bit more before posting to the forum... also considering that I solved the problem before reading your reply. :(
  2. Hello, I recently bought FSUIPC and started configuring it for FSX SP2. I disabled all controllers in FSX, unassigned all axis, assigned the axis of my Saitek Yoke and Quadrant to the usual controls using raw mode and sent them directly to FSUIPC and finally calibrated them in FSUIPC. What happens is that, inside FSX, sometimes the controls seem to get crazy values (for example, the yoke appears as completely turned to one side), and moving the controls on the real yoke has no effect. The problem disappears when I open the FSUIPC panel and close it, but reappears randomly. On the other hand, looking at the Controllers status in the Windows control panel and the values returned by the controls in the FSUIPC panel, the axis values look perfectly normal, and the yoke works just perfectly with FSX without FSUIPC or X-Plane. By the way, I had put STICK_SENSITIVITY=0 in fsx.cfg but I don't think it is relevant. I didn't fiddle with the .INI file, so it should still be very close to its pristine form. Did anybody experience anything similar? Could it be due to some interaction with other software? Ah, of course I am not using the Saitek Programming software at the same time as FSUIPC. Thanks in advance!
