Hey Pete,
Recently I'm having issues calibrating the Y axis on my X55 in FSUIPC. I reads it under axis assignment tab but not under the joystick calibration tab.
also it is working 100% in P3D 3.4.22.19868
FSUIPC V4.96
Ive tried to update the X55 drivers to no avail.
Thanks in advance
Morten Hansen

here is a link to the video of the input behavior
and here are my settings
-
I tried that now and there is no change
-
I am running 4.944a and I did not copy the INI as this is a completly new build.
I am not aware how I can disable controllers in P3D so maybe I can learn something as well ?
it is entirely possible that this is UI issues and I do appreciate any assistance provided.
thanks in advance Pete :)

Hey Pete,
after changing over to P3D I seem to have issues with my number 2 throttle on my G940, the movement registers but the values are irratic and jumpy,
any thoughts on this issue ?
I am running the latest version of FSUIPC and WideFS, Win 10 and newest version of P3D,
thanks

just tested all my controls and for some reason my rudder pedals are giving input to FSUIPC... all seems very odd
-
I dont see any feedback on any axis in fsuipc from any controllers, I have a usb headset and a usb keyboard attached but surely thats not it
-
Hi,
why would you have an 'old' ford Mondeo if you can just get the latest one for FREE.
Just use latest available FSUIPC4 as it is free to update anyway and Pete can only look into code, if needed, of latest available version. That's why there is 'no support' for any older version than the current one.
Then follow precisely the manual to setup axes in FSUIPC.
Any joystick controller that is seen in Windows - Game Controller is seen in FSX and also in FSUIPC. But the controller is not named in FSUIPC's UI, it has just a controller number instead.
If you did run FSX or P3D then you will find in its Modules folder the FSUIPC4.ini file. It contains the section [JoyNames} where all connected (at that time) joystick controller are listed with its given number and GUID.
Here is what it looks like in mine with a connected Logitech Extreme 3D and a PPM controller:
[JoyNames] AutoAssignLetters=No 0=Logitech Extreme 3D 0.GUID={0667FA70-5979-11E4-8005-444553540000} 1=PPM 1.GUID={7B1FD020-6F65-11E4-8001-444553540000}
So you should find your controller listed in yours, do you?
I do have that
[JoyNames]
AutoAssignLetters=No
0=G940
0.GUID={1E55BA40-0D35-11E4-8001-444553540000}
1=Logitech G940 Joystick
1.GUID={1E562F70-0D35-11E4-8002-444553540000}
2=Logitech G940 Pedals
2.GUID={1E56F2C0-0D35-11E4-8004-444553540000}
and I didnt actually know I could update it for free hehe silly me. anyways it is now up to date

4.6 isnt really that old now is it. and I asked for useful advice Tom-D
@Tom-D, sry for my rant there but its a bit like saying Oh I have a flat tire on my 2008 ford mondeo, solution go buy the latest one... I mean really.. surely there will be support on something older than the newest new.

Hey Guys,
So I got this Logitech G940 and Ive always used fsx setup, but after seeing a video of Frooglesim setting up FSUIPC I decided to have a go myself.
However FSUIPC doesnt show my joystick?? anyone have any thoughts
Thanks

just thinking here...
the Bro's are as far as I know, not mind readers. so maybe a list of the issues you would like to have changed would be nice ;)

I had no idea that could be the issue, anyways I reinstalled my client, and everything is now peachy.
thanks for the education Thomas, much appreciated
