  1. Thomas, Excellent, got it. I also added AileronTrim=FSUIPC and RudderTrim=FSUIPC. Will these lines become part of a new version of PFChid64.dll? Thanks. Rick
  2. Hi Thomas, Not sure where to find the [Config] section to add the lines to, is this in the PFChid64.ini file? Rick
  3. Pete, All programmable buttons and switches do appear in FSUIPC7, but I have not as yet programmed any. The switches, such as lights etc. do not appear in FSUIPC7 but do work in the aircraft in MSFS. I am assuming that these switches are hard programmed by PFC as they do not appear in FSUIPC7. One such switch, a five-way "off-right-left-both-start" (and there are two) responds in the aircraft but, it cranks the engine and propeller while held in the start position but will not complete the start. I resort to Ctl + E to start the engine. I have deleted the renamed FSUIPC6.ini file and a new FSUIPC7.ini has been generated anew and has assigned and calibrated the throttle-Pop rpm- mixture axes. These function well in MSFS. The Elevator trim, aileron and elevator axes of the Cirrus Jetliner yoke do not show up in FSUIPC7 for assignment nor calibration. However, they do function properly in the aircraft in MSFS. As they function in the sim I assume that they are also hard programmed by PFC like the the switches and buttons identified in the preceding para. Thomas, I confirm your findings. My C2 Pro has the following axes controls. There are two rotary dials, Aileron Trim and Rudder Trim, for setting fine trim. There is a wheel Elevator Trim dial on the front of the panel that I use for fine adjustments. There is also a rocker switch located on the left handle of the yoke for electronic Elevator Trim ( also moves the hand trim wheel ). The yoke of course handle up/down elevator and left/right aileron axes. Non of these show up for assignment in FSUIPC but do work appropriately in the aircraft in MSFS. Gentlemen, I believe then that things are now working for me with FSUIPC7 in MSFS. I have so far only flown the Cessna 172. I also have more PFC throttle quadrants (Twin prop, Twin turbo prop, twin jet) that will allow for me to verify that landing gear, Carb Heat, Cowl flaps work. I will let you know if there are any issues. I also have a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS that I will eventually test out with FSUIPC7. If there is anything specific that you would like me to do please just ask. I sincerely thank you both for your attention to my posts. Rick
  4. Pete, Thanks. I have company coming over so will get back to you late this afternoon. I really just need to verify if the yoke axes show up in FSUIPC7 yet for assignments and calibration. The yoke does now have proper effect within MSFS while flying. I have deleted my FSUIPC6.ini renamed file and downloaded the latest version of FSUIPC7 before a very earl flight this morning to see if turning AI traffic to 0 had any affect upon my severely decreased frame rates ( down to 10-15 from 21-25). Thanks. Rick
  5. Pete, As of my last test and flight just completed all of the C2 switches work in MSFS. All Jetliner yoke buttons that are not preassigned by PFC show up in FSUIPC7 for assignment (which I have not yet done). So buttons A 0,1,2,3,4,5,7 and 8 do sshow in FSUIPC for assignment. I will now download the new PFChid64.dll. Thanks. Rick
  6. Pete, See responses above. Rick FSUIPC6.zip
  7. Pete, Files attached as requested. Rick PFChid64.zip FSUIPC7.zip
  8. Pete, Yes I had it all working in P3D v4 and V5. It worked in V5 with the PFChid64.DLL.9 This morning when I just tested again as per your latest request the throttle, prop and mixture axes were recognized and calibrated and worked in the sim. The yoke was still not recognized in FSUIPC7 for axes assignment nor calibration but they were recognized and worked in the MSFS sim. The C2 yoke that I have is their Jetliner model. Most buttons tested were recognized by FSUIPC7 but the rocker switch assigned to Elevator Trim by the C2 Console did not show. None of the other switches such as lights etc worked either. The Flaps switch did. Below are the new zipped files for the last test. Thanks again for all of your efforts. Rick FSUIPC7.zip
  9. Hi Pete, As requested. Rick FSUIPC7.zip FSUIPC7.zip
  10. Thomas and Pete, The additional two files as requested. Rick PFChid64.zip
  11. Hello Pete, As requested. Rick FSUIPC7.ini.test.txt.7z FSUIPC7_prev test.zip FSUIPC7.JoyScan.csv.log.zip
  12. Hello Pete, None of that worked. I went into MSFS Controls and deleted any assignments for the rudder and brakes for my MFG Crosswind rudder pedals. I attempted to do the same for the C2 Pro console but was unable to find any assigned. After verifying again my FSUIPC7 axes assignments and calibrations for the rudder pedals. Now there was no response from the rudder pedals in MSFS. Rick
  13. Hello Pete, When I couldn't get FSUIPC7 to pick up any of the PFC controls when attempting to calibrate axes, there was no indications on scan of axes input or on calibration of axes, I went through the "standard procedures" of unplugging and plugging in the C2 Console, restarting the computer and also using the PFC Test GUI and PFC Calibration programs to ensure that the C2 console was functioning properly in them. It was. So the C2 console is connected and working on the computer. As indicated earlier, when I couldn't get FSUIPC7 to recognize the console I also went into MSFS Controls to see if I could calibrate it there. The C2 console was recognized but I couldn't seem to bind buttons or axes for it in MSFS either, though this may be because I am not yet familiar with the MSFS process for doing so. I would prefer not to use MSFS controls, I like the flexibility of FSUIPC. Sorry, I couldn't attach a file working on a separate computer) but here is what I have in my FSUIPC7 folder located on the same drive as MSFS. Folder Profiles (- all the separate P3D aircraft profiles) FSUIPC7 before Profiles.ini FSUIPC7.exe FSUIPC7.ini FSUIPC7.JoyScan.csv FSUIPC7.key FSUIPC.LOG FSUIPC7-prev.log offsetStates-V0.1.ods PFChid64.dll PFCmacroIndex.csv Readme.txt SimConnect.dll As indicated before FSUIPC7 does connect with MSFS. I had copied over my FSUIPC6.ini and renamed it to capture all of the general assignments such as single engine prop etc. Should I just delete this and let FSUIPC7 build a new .ini file and start from scratch? Do I just delete my renamed file and rename the FSUIPC7 before Profiles.ini (assuming that this file came about when I started MSFS because I already had installed my old renamed .ini file). Thanks for all of your help, I do know how busy you are right now. Rick
  14. Pete, Apology for the wrong thread, I suppose that I targeted PFC in the title instead of wanting to generate a new PFC thread. I do have PFChid64.dll installed. MSFS lists the C2 but it also does not seem to recognize any of the components such as yoke, throttle nor dials or switches when I try to set them in MSFS either. I have validated and calibrated everything within the PFC Test GUI and PFC Calibration programs and all seems to be fine. I am totally stymied by what is not connecting properly. I have been using the 172 as the plane to establish an initial FSUIPC calibration. In the FSUIPC7 folder I imported my old FSUIPC6.ini file and renamed it to FSUIPC7.ini and all of the old P3D aircraft are shown in the profiles folder. Rick
  15. I can not get FSUIPC to recognize and therefore calibrate axis on PFC C2 Professional USB console. It has recognized and calibrated my MFG pedals. The C2 device is recognized by MSFS as a control device. I do have FSUIPC 6 working successfully in P3Dv5.
  16. Will there be an updated version of PFChid64.dll that will allow for OFC C2 Professional components to work in MSFS or is it good to go as is? Thanks. Rick
  17. Thomas and Pete, Thank you very much for your help with this. That change, when made with P3D not running has made the difference. After sending my last comment I realized that the other dialogue boxes would of course show properly as they would not be affected by the FSUIPC.ini file, so this change should work. Again, thanks for taking the time to help me. Rick
  18. Hi Thomas, First, I am not convinced that this setting is the cause as all other dialogue windows display properly in the center of my central screen when I click on them in the add-on menu. It is just FSUIPC. However I did open the FSUIPC6.ini file and make the changes, saved and tried but the same results. When I opened the .ini file again the changes were not saved. I have attempted to save a number of times in notes but no luck. I am totally mystified. Rick
  19. Hi Thomas, Thanks for the suggestion, but there was no change. The screen remained black though switching to windowed mode allowed me to use the escape key to bring back the sim. It didn't when in full screen mode. Rick
  20. I have a registered copy of FSUIPC 6.08 and am using the latest update for P3D v5. I also use a PFC C2 Professional Console and MFG Crosswind pedals. P3D loads fine and all controls for the rudder, except toe brakes, throttles and yoke perform well. However the toe brakes are not working and so I click on FSUIPC add-on on the P3D menu bar to set brakes. When I do the screen goes black. The sim continues to function in that I can still hear the engine etc but the FSUIPC screen does not show on the black screen. I also have P3D v4.5 HF2 and this also happens in that version. Last week there were occasions when I could get the setup FSUIPC screen to show and then try to set axis but they would no take. I have settings from before and thus my FSUIPC6.ini file includes those but it did not display on the screen when it did appear last week. This happens with P3D planes and A2A 172 Trainer in both sims. Thank you for any help. Rick FSUIPC6.log FSUIPC6.ini
  21. Pete, Thank you. I had not scrolled down the page to see The Additional Free Software. Regards Rick
  22. Hello John, I am running both P3Dv4.5 and v5. I downloaded and installed a paid version of FSUIPC 6 installing it for both P3D versions using a default install. I use a Precision Flight Controls C2 Professional console. It has always worked with FSUIPC 5 in P3Dv4.5 but is no longer recognized for axis assignment in FSUIPC. Have I missed installing something? Thanks. Rick
  23. John and Pete, Thanks for the the upgraded program. Rick
  24. Pete, Ack, and thanks for the advice. Rick
