I read somewhere fsuipc 6 should make things easier (compared to fsuipc5) . How so ? What are the differences between the 2 ? Thanks

I was thinking the same thing just now. Not sure if repairing is better than a complete uninstall+reinstall ? I will make sure I backup my fsx drive as soon as I installed it next time Thanks for your help V

This is weird.I found the weather folder inside the Virtavia (addon) folder.Anyway the wxstationlist.bin in the main fsx folder was size 0.yes =.I delted it and copied over the one from the weather folder. Moved out the dll.xml and and exe.xml reinstalled fsuipc and launched fsx. This time the sim did not crash after 20 secs...but after 40 secs or so lol. I'm sending you the log. V

I'm testing again so i can send you a "better" log.Last night i was getting a weather.dll crash.I just deleted all the *.wx files and the saved flights and restested. I'm getting the same weather.dll crash somehow after the same 20 secs as before.I can see and access the fsuipc menu in fsx if I click on it before the 10-20 secs crash.After the10-secs crash it all freezes and ctds on me. Yes.I'd kill fsx.exe if it happened. I moved exe.xml and dll.xml to another folder and started fsx.The addonmenu disappeared.There's nothing there.I will have to put them back and enable logging if I can figure out how to do it properly How do i know if it's hanging. ? thx, V

I did all you suggested but no go. What i find very strange is that when i moved fsx.cfg out of its dir ezca was working again for 20 seconds and then it stopped. If I get rid of fsuipc everything works fine! I really didn't want to reinstall fsx.I got tons of addons it will take me for ever to install them again. V

Hi, I replaced the dll.xml but it didn't make a difference unfortunately. I checked this too with task manager and even if I exit the sim properly fsx.exe is still running there.

I just updated fsuipc to the latest version. I launched fsx and ezca worked for something like 10 secs as I could move the mouse around and then it stopped. :( Vic

I uninstalled and installed the trackir software because it did not work anymore.I started having problems when trackir did not work no more. As above.I didn't do anything till trackir stopped working. I removed all fsuipc instances not just the *.dll No the addons menu has lots of things. They all work except for fsuipc and the other 2 things I mentioned in my original post. No. I used the updated version till yesterday when I started uninstalling things. Ok off to do all this now.Will report back. V

Everything was working fine till the other day.Yesterday, trackir stopped working. Today I noticed that ezca was not working anymore and that fsuipc was not accessible from the drop down menu. I removed fsuipc and ezca was working again.I installed fsuipc and ezca was not working anymore.I also noticed that with fsuipc installed even other menus from fsdreamteam scenery (coatl-powered products and addon manager) were not working anymore. If I remove fsuipc stuff works again. How do i get fsuipc to work ? Thanks Vic P.S. I have fsuipc and widefs registered version.

Hi, I own both fsuipc4 and widefs.I recently reinstalled fs9 and therefore would need fsuipc3.98. Will my fsuipc4 license work with the the 3 version or do i have to purchase it separately ? If yes would I get a discount ? Thanks Vic
