  1. My PFC yoke has a potientimeter in it. It needs to turn 90 degrees left and 90 right to get full aileron motion. It is not able to turn 90 degrees due to mechanical limitations of the yoke stops. I can only turn it 30 degrees in each direction. The result is very weak turns. I have set aileron sensitivities to high and null zone to zero in FSX. I have the latest FSUIPC, and don't know if I can trick the yoke to think that 30 degrees of yoke movement is really 90 degrees. Is this possible? And exactly where/how in FSUIPC do I do this. Under the calibration tab, I can't see -16380for full left and 16,380 for full right, yet when turning the yoke left, I can only get 4,300 and full right yields -9,200. How I can re-assign the range to make +/- 4300 full left and right. BTW my CH flight stick gives 100% motion and works fine (when I enable the axis)- I disable the axis on the CH stick not to interfere with the yoke and use it for steering.
  2. OK I got it to work. I have the Throttletek throttles with reversers. The instructions by Throttletek was: 1. Do not set up throttle axis in FSX. 2. Calibrate throttles in Windows Control Panel - not FSUIPC This did not work. I took your advice and it now works fine. The key was to chose separate throttles per engine (3 of 11)and work from there. I don't know why manufacturer (who knew was problem was) and knew I had latest FSUIPC installed led me in the other direction. I still don't know after 2 years of flying with this throttle - all the assignments went crazy all of a sudden. Mow at least I know how to fix them. Thanks
  3. I have newest registered version of FSUIPC (just bought newest version last week) . I have PFC Yoke, ThrottleTek Throttles and Saitek rudder pedals. For 3 years all was OK, then all of a sudden all controllers went wacky. After long hours getting most things back to order - I have 1 serious issue. I have Throttletek throttles with reverse levers. It appears that now idle is actually 2" of the full 5 inches motion in the throttles. Any action down from the 2" point sends the engines into reverse. I need to move the throttles back to almost the 2" position to get it back to idle. I also have a PFC throttles (old but still good). I tried them out and they work fine and don't have this problem. The key is to get the throttles to idle at zero position. They are calibrated and show -16,200 to + 16,200 for the full range of motion. The throttle axis are not selected in FSX. I went through calibration and set up dozens of times. I am missing something. How do I get engines to idle at throttle's idle position and not at the 1/2 way position?
  4. I have FSUIPC version 4.703 paid for license. I just bought a new throttle and I am told to upgrade to 4.84. If I upgrade, will I have to change all the settings, calibrations etc all over again, or will they be saved. Also, is there a fee to upgrade to the fully licensed version? I am not too computer savy. If please advise me on how to upgrade. Thank You Paul Gugliotta
  5. I have a registered version of FSUIPC Version 4.26 and I just transferred to a new computer. FSX is working great and FSUIPC is installed and working great. On my previous computer I had a CH joystick control the tiller. I can't find in the manual the exact configuration to do this. I know I pick "steering Set". I tried many different attempts, but the nose wheel is not turning. I remember a trick with the parameter value but don't remember what exactly to select. I searched the internet as well and can't find the graphic of the nose steering set up. Any advice?
  6. Please help me out on this. I have paid/licensed FSUIPC version 4.26 on my computer (Vista 32 with FSX). I am getting new computer next week with FSX and Win 7. Here are three simple questions I have no answers for: 1. Can I re-install FSUIPC on the new computer? 2. If yes, what is needed - I have an ID, passsword and some 12 digit number written down in my FSUIPC notes. 3. Do I need the latest version for FSX and Windows 7 or will 4.26 be OK - but I don't see it offered anymore? I plan to use the PFC USB yoke, the PFC (serial port throttle)s, and the CH ProductsUSB Pro-pedals Any advise is greatly appreciated, keep it simple please as I am not too computer literate.
  7. I simply can no longer run with Vista 32. I am crashing on low virtual memory (4 GB/3 GB limit is not doing it). This ONLY happend when flying the PDMG 747, but I love flying it. The LD 767 runs great. I guess installing Windows & will help me. I have a 2 year old Dell. 720 H2C, 3 Ghz - oc's to 3.5 Ghx, dual 8800 GTX video cards. Either I buy a whole new computer, or install Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. If I upgrade, will I be able to re-install me paid version of FSUIPC. I have the product key written down and saved? It is going to kill me to re-install FSX, fsuipc, the LD676, the PDMG 747, flyTampa, + all the liveries and updates.
