Good evening all, Anyone share any light as to why this could be happening ? After my pc crashed and setting up a new pc, I installed everything once again, FS9 with all my addons. Since I use VATSIM to do some flight I installed squawkbox and then registered FSUIPC. Now I get an error message saying " The Squawkbox module was unable to start because FSUIPC could not be initialized. Ensure FSUIPC is properly installed and restart Flight Simulator again" I have tried re-installing but as soon as I register my FSUIPC this error pops up and squawkbox does not work. Appreciate any help on this . Thank you Sotiris

Hi there, Excuse my ignorance, but is this software only for FSX ? I am using FS9 is it possible to use Linda to callibrate and assign functionality to my josticks ???

As usual Pete , quick to answer without helping at all... !!! I dont see what is so baffling in the question I asked . I have programmed all the views quite well and working very well when in SPOT view. When I am in the 2D cockpit I have the problem. I would have thought that this would apply to all the views once the hat switch has been programmed. Obviously not. But Pete dont worry yourself over this, someone in one of the forums that I am part of will help me out with out me feeling as though I have asked the corniest thing in this world !! You just lucky there are so many people who help this forum out and help YOU out with FSUIPC becuase I doubt anyone would still be here with that arrogance you carry with you.

Hi All, I am using the registered version of FS9 , FSUIPC ver no 3.98. Taking advice from other users on the forum, I deleted all the entries from FS concerning joystick and peripheral assignments, so essentially I had to start and re-assign everything. I know have a problem that I do not know how to fix. I am using the 2D panel , and when I press the hat switch to view the F/O seat , the view changes and I can see everthing ok as long as I am holding the switch , when I let go of the switch I still get to see the F/O seat , it does not return to the "Global Instriment On" view. The same will apply if I move the hatswitch up or down, the view will not return to the global view on. Anyone has a suggestion for this ?? Thank you once again Sotiris Soteriou

Just as a matter of interest, Kosta, btw , Kalispera, since you are using the Saitek equipment, can you please tell me what would be the best way to setup the flap configuration taken that I am using the LevelD 767 aircraft where the flap config are 1, 5 , 15, 20, 25, 30 and the saitek throttle quadrant has 0, 25, 50 75 100. Hi, Its really strange, because when I use the throttles as usual with trying to reverse thrust, then they work fine. As soon as I try to reverse thrust and I drop the Axis into the bottom detent then take it out, the engines accellerate , and I need to press F1 to stop it.

When pushed forward, the throttles work like they should.

Hi all, Have finally got most of my Saitek working the way I wanted to. I have tried to setup rever thrust on the engines by applying key press with repeat when the button is being pressed and to return back to idle when the engine levers are out of the zone. However its not working like i want to , sometimes the engines although on idle position are actually running on about 70% full. Has someone a better way to do this or explain to me what I have done wrong ? Thanks

Hi all, Can someone please tell me whether or not it is possible to "disable" the trottle quadrant when the autopilot is engaged and to enable it when autopilot is taken off , from FSUIPC ??

RE-installed everything and finally got the new version. Seemed like it was cached. Now finally when everything is installed properly there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel.

I recently purchased FSUIPC version 3.98 from the http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html site. When I install this and ran it it shows up like version 3.96. What have I done wrong ?

FSUIPC goes dead and even when I move the quadrant that is working fine , it still doesnt pick up anything. When this happens, even the axis that have been programmed dont work. This is overcome by restarting FS9

FSUIPC REGISTERED VERSION FS9 ver 3.96 Windows XP Home I am running FS9 with Saitek Yoke , second quadrant and pedals. While all these controllers have been properly installed, and they can be calibrated and are working fine via Windows Control Panel / Controllers / Properties. Now while I have come to realise that while I am trying to program the controllers via FSUIPC, the second quadrant does not show up when I move the second quadrants axis up down. Not only this but while I press rescan button , FSUIPC seems not to respond. As per the picture, the RESCAN AND CLEAR buttons are greyed out. The only way to get this to respond is to exit flight simulator and restart it. So my problem are 2 : 1) Why doesnt FSUIPC see the second quadrant ? 2) Why does FSUIPC "die" on me as per the attachment Appreciate your time Thank you
