    Autosave?

Thank you Pete for your reply. I can save my flight at frequent intervals in FS2020, which sort of works. Sometimes my flight plan is saved and sometimes not. The autopilot seems to always be off but I can usually turn it back on and continue. I will continue to bring this up with Asobo/Microsoft.

    Autosave?

As of Saturday, December 26, the autosave feature of FSUIP7 is still not working! Hope this can be resolved soon because I am having a lot of Crash to Desktop issues. Can save a flight manually and FS2020 can load it, but the flight plan does not appear to be saved.
  3. I tried the default E-195 (house paint) to see if the same problem occurred on my system. Selected Flt Ctrl so I could monitor the spoilers in VC view. Speed control mode manual, altitude 20,000 ft, descending. Used / key to activate spoilers, speed 199 knots, vertical speed mode, descent rate 600 fpm. The spoilers appear to work normally. When I press / the spoilers come on, visible both from outside view and from the inside display. When I press / again the spoilers retract as they should. Tried several times to make sure this was reproducible. So on my system the spoilers appear to work as they should. Hope this info is helpful. Jim Kaye
  4. Jeffrey - Just downloaded Delta Connection N815MD, though have not flown it yet. Your repaints are so well done! Now that v3 is installed and working I can get back to doing some flying. Jim Kaye
  5. Regis9 Thank you for the info on installing the repaint for Air Canada. I will try using your method, and think it should work. Like you, I really wish the text file to be added to the aircraft.cfg file would be included for each repaint. Jim Kaye
  6. Thank you scoobflight. As stated above, I noticed that only the main door opened on v3. Installed the Door Control gauge and now it works perfectly. Thanks. Jim Kaye
  7. I finally successfully installed both the E170/190 and the 175/195 v3. The only problem I had was that after extracting the .exe files to a temporary folder I had to use a right mouse click and select compatibility mode before the installation would start. Maybe this is something that is only needed on my system, but thought I would mention it in case others run into a similar problem. This is the first time I have ever had to do this. Great planes. Did a test ILS approach and autoland at KPSC and it worked perfectly. Jim Kaye
  8. Thank you so much for the link to the InBuilds Feel There liveries. I downloaded the Delta Connection E170 v3 and the Air Canada E190 v3 so far. Have not flown them yet, but they both show up in the P3Dv4 list of aircraft. Added this site to Favorites. Jim Kaye
  9. I am really looking forward to the Delta Connection E170. Your repaints are superb!! Jim Kaye
  10. Just downloaded and flew Alaska N185SY from KPSC to KSEA for the first time. I'm sure this involved a lot of effort, but you did a beautiful job on it. I also downloaded Alaska N630QX. Tried to install some of the liveries such as Air Canada for the E175, but unsuccessful so far. The texture.canada folder is in the feelThere PIC E175 folder, but no instructions on how to add it to Aircraft.cfg that have worked so far. They include a texture.cfg file which includes [fltsim], but unable to get it to show up in the list of vehicles.
  11. Success!!!:D :D :D. Thanks to your help, today I was able to successfully run Plan-G on my networked PC running under Windows XP, while running FSX under the much faster Alienware Aurora. I don't know why Plan-G would not connect to the network like it is supposed to, but FSUIPC works! This is great, because Plan-G allows me to see all of my Ultimate Traffic 2 AI, as well as my flightplan. I can change the map position or magnification without pausing the in-progress flight. Jim Kaye
  12. I was able to resolve this problem by first uninstalling FSX SP2, then uninstalling SP1, then reinstalling SP1 and last, reinstalling SP2. Now the FSUIPC options come up in the menu list when running FSX on the networked client PC. I did not have to reinstall FSX. I would now like to be able to run FSX on an Alienware Aurora system and run Plan-G on the networked Windows XP computer. According to the Plan-G manual, I need to install WideServer.ini on the Aurora and WideClient.ini on the networked PC, and edit the configuration files to transfer the necessary information to the networked XP computer. I have WideFS on both computers, just need correctly edit the configuration files. Thanks very much for your help. FSUIPC is a great program. I use it all the time on the Aurora, especially the AutoSave feature, since sometimes FSX freezes and then goes to the FSX startup screen. With Autosave I can complete my flight from within 5 minutes of when this happens. Jim Kaye
  13. I've been trying to get FSUIPC4 and WideFS installed on a Dell XPS Gen4 running under Windows XP. The goal is to use it as a network client connected to an Alienware Aurora system running FSX under Windows 7 Home Premium. If successful I hope to run an add on called Plan-G on the client, which will display a moving map. This will allow using the monitors on the Aurora to display instrument panel and outside views while flying. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to get SimConnect to work to do this. An alternative is to use FSUIPC on the Aurora and XP computers, which should work according to the Plan-G manual. However, although I have installed FSUIPC, it does not appear in the FSX menu. It does appear on the menu for the Aurora, however. The following is the FSUIPC4.log file ********* FSUIPC4, Version 4.60a by Pete Dowson ********* Reading options from "E:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\FSUIPC4.ini" Trying to connect to SimConnect Acc/SP2 Oct07 ...
