After reading the users' guide for FSUIPC (finally) and discovering its control mapping capabilities, I decided to disable the joystick in FS9 and map all the axes and buttons on my Saitek ProFlight yoke, throttle quadrant and rudder pedals in FSUIPC. I do not have the Saitek programming software installed. The controls all work just fine, but now the autopilots on my Captain Sim 757 and Level-D 767 work erratically at best. VNAV and autothrottle don't seem to be affected, but LNAV, Heading Select and Localizer Capture sometimes don't "take". The ADI and MCP indicate the proper modes selected, but the airplane will sometimes not follow the FD commands, often wandering off on its own.
Because these problems have only occurred since mapping the controls in FSUICP, and because the same problems are occurring on two separate aircraft, I have to conclude that some setting(s) in FSUIPC are causing them. How might I be able to correct this?
Thanks for your help!
