Hi all:
I just moved up to a new Dell portable, mem speed 1333 mhz, 16,343 mb memory, cpu speed 1806 mhz, i7 cpu, q840 @ 1.87 ghz, windows 7 home prem 64 bit. This runs FSX real good.
OK, just purchased CH products....yoke, pro pedals, throttle quad and installed the CH Control v4.51.
If I run FSX without the CH Control Manager, the yoke and pedals will work fine in the mission I tested this out in.
I have the yoke plugged into a USB 2, the pedals plugged into a USB 3, and the quad plugged into a USB 3.
When I go into the control manager, the yoke calibrates ok, the test/cal does not see the pedals in USB 3, and the test/cal does not see the quad in USB 3.
The support at CH told me to run direct with FSX without using the control manager.....ridiculous solution. How would I use the products the way I want to use them ?
I am not getting much help from AVSIM.....I think the control manager software is the problem with the USB 3 because the pedals work good when direct to FSX and also if I move them to the USB 2, they work under the control manager.
My question is this.....if I purchase FSUIPC and throw away the CH Control Manager, will the FSUIPC work with these products plugged into the USB 3 ports.
I know that the USB 3 ports are working because the mouse works in every one of them as does a storage stick.
