  1. Looks like the problem I had has disappeared (I hope). Only thing I changed was I installed a 10 port usb device to replace a 6 port unit and a 4 port unit that I had daisy chained together. Not sure if it had anything to do with it. Thanks for all your help. All the best to you. Lance
  2. Thanks for helping me with this problem. Your tireless work is much appreciated. I tried the FSUIPC test dll with the same result. Here is the log. ********* FSUIPC4, Version 4.948c by Pete Dowson ********* Prepar3D.exe version = 3.0.14945.14945 Reading options from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Modules\FSUIPC4.ini" Running inside Prepar3D v3 on Windows 7 Module base=57470000 User Name="xxxxxx xxxxxx" User Addr="xxxxxxx xxxxxxx" FSUIPC4 Key is provided WideFS7 Key is provided 219 System time = 07/12/2015 20:43:31 219 FLT UNC path = "\\P3D\Prepar3D v3 Files\" 219 ------ Module Version Check ------ 219 acontain.dll: 3.0.10.14945 219 api.dll: 3.0.10.14945 219 controls.dll: 3.0.10.14945 219 fs-traffic.dll: 3.0.10.14945 219 G3D.dll: 3.0.10.14945 219 sim1.dll: 3.0.10.14945 219 visualfx.dll: 3.0.10.14945 219 weather.dll: 3.0.10.14945 219 window.dll: 3.0.10.14945 219 ---------------------------------- 219 Trying C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Modules\SimConnectP3D2.dll 219 Found it: trying to connect 234 FS UNC path = "\\P3D\Prepar3D v32\" 515 ---------------------- Joystick Device Scan ----------------------- 515 Product= 515 Manufacturer= 515 Vendor=046D, Product=C2AB (Version 0.1) 515 Serial Number= 515 Product= Saitek AV8R Joystick 515 Manufacturer= 515 Vendor=06A3, Product=0461 (Version 1.18) 515 Serial Number= 531 Product= Saitek Pro Flight Quadrant 531 Manufacturer= Saitek 531 Vendor=06A3, Product=0C2D (Version 2.1) 531 Serial Number= 531 ------------------------------------------------------------------- 640 LogOptions=00000000 00000001 655 ------------------------------------------------------------------- 655 ------ Setting the hooks and direct calls into the simulator ------ 655 --- CONTROLS timer memory location obtained ok 655 --- SIM1 Frictions access gained 655 --- FS Controls Table located ok 655 --- Installed Mouse Macro hooks ok. 655 --- Wind smoothing fix is installed 655 --- All links okay (except older global weather setting method) 655 ------------------------------------------------------------------- 655 SimConnect_Open succeeded: waiting to check version okay 655 Trying to use SimConnect Prepar3D 671 VRI port 1 "com3" opened 3869 Running in "Lockheed Martin® Prepar3D® v3", Version: 3.0.3.0 (SimConnect: 3.0.0.0) 3869 Initialising SimConnect data requests now 3869 FSUIPC Menu entry added 3885 \\P3D\SIM\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Prepar3D_Default.fxml 3885 \\P3D\Prepar3D v32\SimObjects\Airplanes\IRIS Raptor Driver\Raptor.air 4119 VRI FMER ("MCP Combi") detected on port com3 27815 System time = 07/12/2015 20:43:59, Simulator time = 08:00:01 (13:00Z) 27909 Aircraft="F-22 Raptor - 525th Fighter Squadron" 28829 Starting everything now ... 28829 LUA.0: beginning "C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Modules\ipcReady.lua" 28829 LUA.0: ended "C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Modules\ipcReady.lua" 28845 LUA.1: 28845 LUA.1: [iNIT]LINDA:: Loading... 28876 ASN active function link set 28876 Ready for ASN WX radar 28938 LUA.1: LINDA:: Aircraft: F-22 Raptor - 525th Fighter Squadro 28938 LUA.1: LINDA:: Aircraft module detected: FSX Default 28970 LUA.0: LINDA:: AivlaSoft library loaded... 28970 LUA.0: LINDA:: FSX standard library loaded... 28985 LUA.0: LINDA:: IVAO library loaded... 28985 LUA.0: LINDA:: RealityXP library loaded... 28985 LUA.0: LINDA:: Weather library loaded... 29001 LUA.0: LINDA:: A2A MAP library loaded... 30140 Advanced Weather Interface Enabled 30186 LUA.0: LINDA:: RADIOS : Empty command for :: COM1 Select 31590 LUA.0: LINDA:: Module: FSX Default Started... 31590 LUA.0: LINDA:: Ready to go, Captain! 31590 LUA.0: LINDA:: 63758 Hook Error: can't find .1464991384 in SIM1.dll 63758 Hook Error: can't find .1464991384 in VISUALFX.dll
  3. I have a somewhat similar problem. I am using a cougar mfd and clicking on button 19 causes a CTD LIke you, removing FSUIPC and again pressing button 19 does not cause a CTD. This happens with the default aircraft F22 or any other aircraft. Also, if I use LINDA, the console shows the following errors after the crash (E) Hook Error cant find SIM1.DLL (E) Hook Error cant find VISUALFX.DLL Thanks
  4. Makes sense, thanks for clearing that up. Cheers mate
  5. I use FSX and I would like to have a list of all Delta gates at various airports. I tried using makerwys.exe /dal but the resulting file "dal gates.txt" is blank I looked into the g5.csv file and none of the entries have an airline code listed. Here is a small portion of my g5.csv file (not sure if my files are messed up) KDAL,G,10,32.848312,-96.850410,18.0,224.1,8 KDAL,G,11,32.847836,-96.850250,18.0,224.1,8 KDAL,G,12,32.847519,-96.849960,18.0,224.1,8 KDAL,G,14,32.846447,-96.848007,18.0,224.1,8 KDAL,G,13,32.847172,-96.849609,18.0,224.1,8 KDAL,G,15,32.845150,-96.847221,18.0,224.1,8 I think I am missing a step (or two....) Is this possible? Thanks
