  1. Since I already had previously a free version of FSUIPC, I didn't even read that stuff and just went with the WideFS stuff. Your suggestion worked. I must have read all the directions 50 times and missed that I didn't need GPSout with FSX and new FSUIPC. Thanks for the help. Your advice was 5 minutes to fix after I spent three hours. All is working fine now. (Well, except for Delorme stuff which is buggy on its own right. I still am getting a message that WideFS cannot load moving map, but I can do it manually fine after the error=2 message.
  2. In FSX [Module] I have GPSout.ini and GPSout.dll GPSout.ini has Sentences=RMC,PGRMZ Port=WideFS Speed=9600 and the rest of the standard stuff WideClient on my client has the following wideclient.ini ; PLEASE SEE WideFS documentation for parameter details ; ===================================================== [Config] Port=8002 Window=270,4,886,589 Visible=Yes ButtonScanInterval=20 ClassInstance=0 NetworkTiming=5,1 MailslotTiming=2000,1000 PollInterval=2000 Port2=9002 ResponseTime=18 ApplicationDelay=0 TCPcoalesce=No WaitForNewData=500 MaxSendQ=100 OnMaxSendQ=Log NewSendScanTime=50 Priority=3,1,2 ; =============================================== [sounds] Path=C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\FSUIPC4\Sound\ Device1=Primary Sound Driver Device2=SoundMAX HD Audio ;__________________________________________________ ;[user] ;Run1=C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\Moving Map\Moving Map\BSSMM\BSSMM.exe ;Log=Errors+ [GPSout] Port=COM255 Speed=9600 Note...I had to rem out the Run1 because I was getting an [error=2], anthough I can use Blue Sky Moving Map by manually starting it. This error started after I worked on my GPSout stuff I have the port emulator on my client set up and appears to be working OK pairing ports 255 and 4. However TopoUSA and Microsoft streets both crash and burn when I try to feed it the GPSout data. Does it make any difference what com ports I pair on the client? Is 255 too big? Which one goes first? Or am I using the wrong sentences? or is TOPOUSA not compatible? It works fine with a Garmin GPS.
