  1. Thanks for the response. I don't hear any RC4 voices, meaning when I normally try to contact clearance (by pressing "1"), I will hear the designated pilot voice I have chosen ask for clearance. What happens now, is that I will press the number 1 button to ask for clearance. I won't hear any request and the dialogue box will change to state "standby." A new option will then appear saying "1. contact ground." If I contact ground by pressing 1 nothing happens. Add-ons that I am running are Active Sky for v4, ORBX global and vector, MyTraffic6, and PMDG 777. Hope that is more clear. Thanks. Seth
  2. Hi Pete, Thanks for all of your work with FSUIPC. I have been using FSUIPC4 for years and just recently bought FSUIPC5 to use with P3D v4. I see on the forums that people have been able to get RC4 to work with P3D v4 using FSUIPC5 but I have been having no luck and was hoping you might have some insight. RC4 connects to v4 no problem. The green screen with the RC4 options opens. I click 1 or 2 to contact weather or clearance but instead of hearing any voices, it automatically tunes ground...and still no voices. Like I said, I've seen other people have had success. I've emailed RC4 but have not heard back yet. Using Windows 7. Any thoughts? Much appreciated. Thanks. Seth
  3. I am having the same trouble. Tried to redownload and reinstall as administrator and not working. Also says that the program on installation does not meet criteria to install C++ because a newer version is already installed. Any help? Thanks! Really looking forward to using. Seth
  4. Thanks for the response! I've been in touch with Dave, the developer, and he has actually been a tremendous help. He just sent me an email yesterday with an attachment that fixed the problem. I haven't tested extensively, but I've been able to use FDC with P3D v2.5. I would definitely contact him. He is great. I don't want to copy his email here, so if you need help contacting him, maybe I can help out. Seth
  5. Thanks Pete. Yes, I've looked around and it seems most people haven't had success. That was why I emailed the developer. Sorry about the technical language. I wasn't sure what was connecting to what. I will keep trying. Thanks! Seth
  6. Hi friends, I have been searching high and low as well as working with the developer of FlightDeck Companion to get FDC working in P3D. Thus far, I haven't been able to find anything. ProFlight Emulator, created by the same developer, works in P3D through FSUIPC, however, we can't seem to get FSUIPC and FDC to communicate through P3D. That is to say, P3D is running on the side, I load a P3D flight with an aircraft I have configured for FDC, but when I go to the "addon" menu, I don't see a "Connect to FDC" option. I am running the most recent FSUIPC and FDC with P3D v 2.5 Thank you for the help! best, Seth
  7. Ahha, yup! SPAD, that's the one. Thank you for the response. Do you know if this works well with your product? Do you have any recommendations\documentation on how to get the controller working using FSUIPC? I am new to your product. Thanks again! Seth
  8. Hi All, I know this has been posted about in the past, but I cannot seem to find a recent answer (or a better place to post). I am thinking about purchasing some hardware (other than a joystick) for the first time and am looking into the Saitek - Pro Flight Multi Panel. I've seen that this works really only with default aircraft and not most payware addons. I like to use commercial aircraft so would love to get it working with most of them. I came across a link in the forums for a software that should get it working with FSUIPC and most aircraft but now can't find it. I am a registered paying user of FSUIPC. I have never tried to get serious hardware working and am not that good with the programming complexities of FSX or FSUIPC for that matter. Does anyone know of an easy way to get the multi-panel working with FSX using FSUIPC? Is it worth getting this product for commercial flying? Is there a better similarly priced alternative? Thanks all! Seth
