  1. For all my throttle axis's, assignments and buttons I have everything mapped through fsuipc now. I guess I could try native MFS and use fsuipc as a backup. I keep reading the native method is quite difficult.
  2. Are you able to assign throttles, axis's, buttons, etc... from within FSUIPC to the PFC equipment?
  3. So if I have PFC equipment that is all USB, no need for the PFCcom64.dll module correct?
  4. Two things: 1. How do you turn on developers mode? 2. On the Vatsim forum on the release announcement for vPilot it mentions that something broke between the beta and the release version regarding SimConnect. Users of vPilot are reporting a massive hit in frames when activated. vPilot uses SimConnect. Vatsim has reported it to Adobo and MS. We can only wait now for an update. Nothing to do with FSUIPC
  5. Oh thank the Lord for this. I was dreading the thought of having to redo all my button assignments, axis's and calibrations!
  6. I'll buy it the day fsuipc 5 is released
  7. Thanks will dive into the document tomorrow morning.
  8. Please see the below thread at avsim. Trying to figure out a way to make reverse thrust on an Axis rather than the all or nothing way doing it now. Hopefully someone here may know how. https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/509868-thrust-reverse-help-needed/
  9. Getting this as well, exact same thing. Posted this thread link to LINDA forum.
  10. Nope, even on 3.2 with W10 and LINDA, latest fsuipc goes right to task manager. Just happened to me. EDIT: replaced with 949f version and did the same thing.
  11. I'm on W10 when I was having issues with 4.959. Also had LINDA installed. I have since rolled back to 3.3.5. Too many issues with 3.4hf2
  12. Too add to the confusion, after I reinstall fsuipc, at times I can start P3D normally 5 or 6 times, both with and without a computer restart before suddenly it starts and disappears to the task bar thus forcing me to reinstall fsuipc again. Yes I do have LINDA installed as well.
  13. Pete, I can test it for you but won't be until Saturday afternoon, probably around 1900Z. Hopefully someone else will be along to test before then. If not I will email you if you'd like?
  14. Next time it happens I will. Whether it makes sense or not, it happened to me yesterday and again today. A reinstall of fsuipc fixes it for a one time use. I and like others in that thread I linked to are all having the same issue. Take out the FSUIPC.dll and it works just fine. In and it goes to the task manager. When it goes directly to the task manager it says (32bit) next to the Prepar3d.exe which, when it starts like it should does not say that.
  15. Pete - hoping you can issue a fix for this soonest. I see you come back today. Hope the holidays went well.
  16. Major problem with the latest version of P3D (HF2) and latest version of fsuipc. P3D now stops loading shortly after the splash screen (I never get to the scenario setup window). It worked the first time I launched, but thereafter it always hangs. It's running in the task manager though. I can disable fsuipc in dll.xml and everything works. The only workaround I and another user have found is to install the latest version again into P3D. It will work then but thereafter upon shutting down P3D, it will revert back to the issue as stated above thus requiring yet another install. Many others also having this issue: http://www.avsim.com/topic/500447-the-demise-of-my-copy-of-prepar3d-in-24-hrs/?p=3535478
  17. Ok, at my wits end trying to get the AirbusX_Thr1.lua and AirbusX_Thr2.lua files to work . I have done as Pete instructed here in this post, http://forum.simflight.com/topic/65756-airbusx-and-pfc-serial-throttle-quad/#entry415349. However the problem I am having is (I think) with this part mentioned in the post: Note that running a plug-in in this way gives no chance for normal calibration. The computation above: 4096 - (9 * input / 4) is designed to provide the apparently needed range of +40960 (idle) to -32768 (max). This passes through the assorted FADEC modes en route. However, that of course depends on the input value range being -16384 to +16383, which is only likely with a USB-connected digital device. My own PFC throttles only gave a range of -13030 to + 13545 in FSUIPC (allowing for a small dead zone either end -- never forget that), so I had to adjust the formula appropriately. I have a JetMax Throttle console instead of the PFC throttles. As such my ranges are way off for some reason. It is a USB connection directly into the computer as well. My ranges for throttle 1 (as seen in FSUIPC) is -11115 to 1952 and for throttle 2 it is -4240 to 8224. When I select the AirbusX Thr1 and 2 files, select Send to FS as normal axis, I see the throttles moving. However on throttle one I can only go from 36% N1 to 56% N1 and for throttle 2 it is only moving from 56% N1 to 83% N1. They do not go to idle or to max thrust. I have the number 2 selected in the Airbus configurator from Aerosoft as well. I see the math formula that Pete posted but unfortunately I was never good at that kind of math and cannot figure out how to adjust the lua script to fit my hardware if in fact that is the issue? Any help would be appreciated.
  18. Pete, I am not seeing a REV checkbox within FSUIPC's Axis Assignment tab? I do see it within the PFC menu but I now have the spoilers set up via FSUIPC and not through the PFC.dll anymore. That was the only way to get the to work. I now have User Configuration set up with just the two throttles and Reverse thrust handle in use, no spoilers due to being run through fsuipc now.
  19. Pete, Believe or not I have everything working on the PFC console now. The only issue I have is the Spoiler handle on the PFC throttle console now has to operate backwards to work (pulling the lever to the up position on the console causes them to go down and vice-versa). I evidently screwed up something. I am still using the PFC FSX dll for throttles, reverse thrust, flaps and rudder trim. In order to get the spoilers and gear to work, I have them running through fsuipc. The gear is assinged under the button control and the spoilers under axis control. Can you please help me reverse the spoiler control. I see no way of deactivating the spoiler control through the PFC menu without disabling the whole console and I dont want to do that. Thanks. This is what my ini file looks like for the relevant parts: [buttons] ButtonRepeat=20,10 1=H20,5,K145,8 3=P16,16,K79,10 4=P16,18,K71,8 6=U16,18,K71,8 [Axes] 0=0Y,256/1000,D,22,0,0,0 1=17X,512,D,22,0,0,0
  20. Tom, based off what Pete is saying above, the PFC dll was only meant for default planes and we should be doing everything through fsuipc. I am starting now with doing that to see how it goes (keeping backups of what I had though!)
  21. Sounds good Pete, will try as you outlined above.
