  1. Your own installer gives the opportunity to install into an "Add-ons Folder". This is the preferred method since P3Dv3. It negates reinstalling everything if you have a P3D problem This outlines everything that can be installed outside the main P3D directory. http://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv4/sdk/add-ons/add-on_configuration_files.html I do not have a "custom file structure" just one called "Prepar3D v4 Add ons" outside of the main P3D directory. The name is irrelevant as long as your Simobjects.cfg points to the add-ons folder. My question remains, how come it worked with the initial installation in December but with SP1 doesn't work. Has something changed??????????????? was my initial question.
  2. I know that will work, but as with the latest P3D convention I want to install the addons outside of the main P3D directory. It worked with the initial install but no with SP1.
  3. I used the installer but selected my own folder to install into. I did the same with SP1.
  4. Hi All, Has something changed with regards to the installation in SP1. With the original release I installed the aircraft outside of P3D and added the folders to the relevant menus. Everything worked fine. Since the installation of the SP1 I have none of these aircraft available in P3D. I have checked all the relevant folders. I have noticed that the aircraft were installed using a different folder structure this time, and the previous files were not overwritten. Any assistance appreciated. 5. Hi Pete, I have attached an image to show the error received as mentioned above causing the PC to hang. No error occurs when fsuipc is not installed on the machine. There are no duplicate copies of fsuipc as mentioned in the error message. Regards Brian
  6. I am running a registered version of fsuipc with FS2004 and two displays in full screen mode. I am also running FSNav and vPar. If I press alt/tab in FS2004 to go to the desktop I get an fsuipc error saying I have more than one application of fsuipc open and I should close one. FS2004 becomes unrecoverable causing me to have to close it and start it again. The OS is windows 7 (64) Has anyone else suufered from this error and is there a way to solve it. Thank you Brian
