  1. Thank you for the quick reply! I suspected as much, but I thought it would be prudent to report my issue anyway. Unfortunately, I deleted all my old FSUIPC files along with FS 2002 to make room for FS 2004 on my hard drive. I'm still considering registering FSUIPC 3.03, so I will keep what you told me in mind. However, for me, FSUIPC's primary job is to support FDC, which it does very well unregistered. If you don't have my $32 CDN, at least you have my gratitude for continuing to support FSUIPC and FDC!
  2. I'm having a very minor problem with my FS 2004 rudders and FSUIPC 3.03 (Unregistered). I use a Top Gun Afterburner II with the great big throttle control. If you are not familiar with the stick, you can either Google a search on it, or I will describe it very briefly: the stick has two rudder controls. One is a traditional stick twist rudder, and the other is a big rocker switch mounted on the throttle (sounds dubious, but it works great). FS 2004 has all kinds of new rudder control issues, thanks to the "tail dragger" planes, yet my problem seems to apply to all the planes. After installing the FSUIPC DLL, FS 2004 seems to un-calibrate the rudder, so that it will go left, but not right, or just sit in the middle and vibrate unrealistically -- sort of like the rudder's "center" is being controlled from outside and shifted around at random. Repeated calibrations of the joystick in the game just become unset the moment I apply rudder on an aircraft. I do have a work-around fix: before letting the parking brake loose, flap the rudder around vigorously using the twist rudder on the stick. Then, switch back to the throttle rudder, and although the throttle rudder is still a little "mushy", it should work okay. Taking out FSUIPC seems to help, but then I lose functionality with Dave March's excellent FDC. Losing the "taxi wind" functionality also seems to impede my taxi rudder control, but I think I just got spoiled by having the taxi wind turn off. Having read other posts on that topic, I understand why the new FSUIPC does not have taxi wind control. Anyway, that's my two cents' worth. I'm not sure how many FS 2004 users who are also FDC addicts and use a Top Gun Afterburner II, but if you are having the same problem I did, please make yourself heard. Otherwise, FSUIPC 3.03 is working as advertised! Thanks!
