  1. Pete, I can't seem to get the "Disconnect elevator trim axis for AP" function to work. I am using 4.853 FSUIPC. Isn't this supposed to stop the visual trim wheel from moving when the AP is engaged and therefore not getting it out of sync with my analog trim wheel controller? I also had a question about aircraft profiles. After getting everything set for more than one specific aircraft, how do I switch between profiles for those aircraft? Thanks Mark
  2. Ok Thanks for the replies. I'll play with it a little and see what I can come up with. Mark Gypsy, THAT WORKED GREAT!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!! I did have to tie it to the mixture axis, whenever I tied it to the smoke button the effect would only stay on while the button was pushed. I don't think I'll be flying without the mixture in range though anyway. Once again thanks for the great idea! Mark
  3. Hi Pete and everyone! I've got a question and I'm not sure if its even possible. I've created a fx file for a VC light with the FX editor that is part of the SDK. In the editor while creating it I used a "Do Effect" button to see what my work looked like. I put this vc light in Carenado's 172N but there isn't any way to turn on my light without also turning on Carenado's absurdly bright cockpit light also. Is there a way to trigger an effect like this through FSUIPC where I could only turn on my light and not the Carenado light? I want this Not this Thanks Mark
  4. Thanks Pete, I did update last night after posting here. Can I program the wheel to Trim inc/Trim Dec adjustments in FSUIPC? I think I do have it programmed now to the trim axis. Mark
  5. Hello, I'm having the same problem as talked about above. Whenever I have the autopilot engaged I can barely touch my Pro flight Cessna trim wheel and the plane starts climbing about 200 fpm but it will come back to the correct altitude. When I disconnect the A/P everything stays stable untill I move the trim wheel and then I get the same thing. After getting the plane back under control everything is fine. I've tried the two options under the misc. tab both off and on and all the combos with no results. This happens on all planes. Pete, in your post above you mention making sure the trim wheel is resonably close to the indicator, or at least thats the way I'm reading it, but that doesn't help because it happens even with the A/P engaged. I have 4.827 installed. Thanks Mark
  6. Hi, I have FSUIPC set to show the TCASID as "Tail", however it is showing the first three numbers of the tail number instead of the last three. I have looked in the ini file for a place to change this but with no luck. Can this be fixed and if so how. I'm not sure if I need to post a log or something, if so please let me know. Thanks Mark
