  3. Hello,

at the moment the development focus is on web version of the calculator. There are several reasons for this:

    • entire application is centralized, so all updates bug fixes etc. are rolled out instantly and are available to everyone at the same time
    • web version uses more precise calculations and it's truly "as real as it gets"
    • web version does not suffer from compatibility issues - everyone with a web browser get the same experience

I understand that logging in might be annoying, but its a necessary security feature that ensures all the users end up with uninterrupted service.

  4. Dear Customers,

TOPER 777 for PC is now compatible with all Windows versions. Rest of the TOPER family of products are not yet supported by Windows 11.

As an alternative, we are working hard to migrate all TOPER PC-based products to our "TOPER Web" service, which will mitigate number of issues. With "TOPER Web" there is:

No need for software updates, no more incompatibility issues!

    Kind regards,

    Hello,

I haven't used this tool since I bought for a while.  Because I got discussed with it and how it wasn't being updated and you could not

update the AIRAC easily.    I have redownloaded it from simmarket (where i bought it) and its first version (v1.00.6).   i have tried to download

what I take is the latest version in 1.5.5 but get an issue with it.   Setup gives No TOPER installation found.  Installer will now quit.   Please help.

Need latest install and how do we get the latest AIRAC for this tool WE PAID FOR.

    Thanks

    Mark

    Dear Mark,
    please try the following:
    1. Install original TOPER you got from SimMarket
    2. Uninstall it and remove any leftover folders
    3. install again and then apply updates

    Hi,

I just updated to version 1.5.3 (Airac 2108) Unfortunately the calculator gives me overweight warnings all the time e.g.:

    OJAI, RWY 26R (FULL 3660m), 1013hPa, 280/17KT, 32°C, TOW 50.5t (B733)

even with packs of and flaps 15 it says it is too heavy.

The old version (v1.0) computed the speeds and assumed temps with the same values.

Does the same happen on a different airfield?

  7. I have a quick hot-fix:

    1. download and install Sublime Text Editor (it's free)
    2. open the PSSRWY.dat
    3. Go to Find -> Replace
    4. in the Find textbox add
       -999.000000
    5. in the Replace textbox add
        99.000000

note: there are two empty spaces before the minus sign (up) and the first nine (down), something like __-999.00000 and __99.000000

    6. hit Replace All

    7. Save changes

Update utility should be working fine now.

    Hello,

Having trouble with the utility after installing AIRAC 2102. When I run the program, I get error message as per attach photo. I installed the updated PSS and PMDG AIRAC and still have this problem. Any idea what is causing this issue??

    Thanks for reporting.

Looks like that Navigraph made a mistake on their end when compiling data for the Feb. this year. Not much I can do from my side, except to add support for some nav format other than PSS.

    Hello,

I am using TOPER's product and enjoying it very much. But I found out that the 737 Classic TOPER has a problem... in fact, if you are flying the beautiful and accurate IXEG in X plane 11, the maximum take off weight in TOPER 737-300 stop at 55t, but it should be MTOW 63276kgs. Can you double check this? did I miss something in the manual?

    Alex

    Hi Alex,
what is the max TOW you get for an extremely long runway and a low TOW. Does it still cap off at 55t?

Tried doing this however Toper still says Airac 1303. Both airports_10 and runways_10 are updated, but airports.dat still says the file is from 2013. Does this mean the airac cycle was not updated correctly?

Yes, if the AIRAC cycle still stays the same, this indicates failure of the DB generation.
Please try the procedure again and let me know if the problem persists.
    Kind regards,

I still have airac 1901 .   I have tried this every which way possible and I am not seeing any PSS Directories created.    I guess

I am just not understanding something.    Anyone want to try to explain this to me again please ?  In C Drive/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Topcat

I have these things:   Folders NavData and NAVData- Backup  -   Also bunch of numbers and letters .index file  -  cycle_info.txt  - Database.tdb

    and lastly both the topcat_1913.zip and toper-db-updater.exe ..   On my E Drive , under my Toper Calculator Tool ,  i have these things:  737NG Folder - airports_10.data  - B737NG_activation.dat - ints_10.dat - runways_10.dat - TOPER_737NG.exe - TOPER_activation.exe  - toperLib.dll - unins000.dat and unins000.exe

    Thanks

PSS directories are created by the AIRAC installer.

    Hello,
I've finally managed to get my hands on a Mac, which is essential for developing iOS applications. I will be releasing the same version for iOS devices some time in the next month or two.

Thank you very much for supporting TOPER!
