Did upgrade to 3.999 right after posting. Will try plug-in again. I use Microsoft Intellipoint Mouse but I just wanted to try LUA. My last FSUIPC Version was 3.998f

Pete After seeing this post I tried the following to toggle cockpit tool tips without going into the menus. ipc.keypressplus(79,16,4)--Send ALT+O for Options Menu ipc.keypressplus(69,8)--Send E for Settings Menu ipc.keypressplus(71,8)--Send G for General Menu ipc.keypressplus(84,8)--Send T for Tool Tips ipc.keypressplus(13,8,8)--Send Enter to Confirm and Exit back to FS The first and last lines are from your example. It works but after a few times FS just closes. No Errors nothing just gone. I'm using XP SP2 FS9.1 FSUIPC 3.988F (I know its not the lastest) I also used the Pause/Break key which does nothing in FS. This works fine if it's programmed on a mouse button using the mouse software.

This problem also happens with FSUIPC 3.989 FS9.1 Win XP Home

In the next full release of FSUIPC 3.xx is it possible to have the installer place all the PDF files and the LUA Plugins ZIP file in a New Folder within the Modules Folder?

Try saving your default flight with the flying tips turned off. It may not help but it cant hurt.

Not likely to be caused by FSUIPC it just seems to happen. Find the [MISC] section of the FS9.cfg file and change the LOG_FILE= entry to LOG_FILE=logbook That should fix it.

3.713 was installed I triple checked that. As far as XP SP1 just a personal choice until this one incident never had any major problems with XP, FS8, FS9 or any other program in the last 4.5 years. If it is a XP problem it may become more apparent if there is a v3.72 in the future.

Thanks again for the quick reply and all your extra work on this problem. Downloaded dbgView.exe & installed 3.713 Ran dbgView then started FS9, nothing was displayed or logged by dbgView. So until I have more time to look at this again i'll stick with 3.71 Once again thanks for all the help and sorry for any inconvience

Have WinTrust.dll 5.131.2600.0 its in C:\I386 folder & C:\Windows\System32 folder

Thanks for the quick reply Using Windows XP SP1 DLL is signed Peter L Dowson Thursday December 14, 2006 8:24:55 am Even if FSUIPC wasn't registered I think FSRealtime & AI Smooth should have connected and they acted as if it wasn't there. Im now using 3.71 with no problems I also had no problems with 3.711

Installed FSUIPC 3.712 today after starting FS9 I found I was now unregistered and FS Realtime & AI Smooth were not working. I tried reentering my keycode with no luck, code was accepted but made no difference. Reinstalled 3.71 all is back to normal.

FS Realtime has been updated for FSX its Version 1.81 Check there site

I never had Advdisplay installed is it needed? The two options I show are FSUIPC Multiline Display Window (Checked) Hide All Single Line Messages (Unchecked) If I enable BOTH "When crossing a new timezone" and "When an AutoUpdate occurs" in FS Realtime 1.79.3 only "When an AutoUpdate occurs" is displayed

The FS Realtime display is a single green line with red text at the top of the outside view window. It appears only when entering a new time zone. For FSUIPC 3.60 i'm using the default settings on the "About/Register" page but changes make no difference. I have found that starting Realtime after FltSim is running allows the message to display but only once.

Same problem here but with FSUIPC 3.60 and FS Realtime 1.79.3

Ive always found that for system time to work FS9.cfg must be edited to not load the opening screen.

Hi Pete Am using FSUIPC 3.11 ( Registered) and was wondering if there is a way to toggle Cockpit Tool Tips from within FS9 in the the same way as Aircraft Labels is done?

Pete Also would like to say I just tried the suggestion you made of adding the line InitDelay=0 to FSUIPC.ini and it seemed to cure my printing problem. FS9 would go to a black window sized screen and crash if I tried to print Pilot Breifings or NavLogs. Now it is working perfectly. Thanks again

Thanks for the quick reply The files are named AutoSave followed by the Day & Time just like the regular AutoSave files but with the .abl They only appear after a lesson as far as I can tell.

Hi Pete Im using FS2004 with Autosave 1.4.5 and FSUIPC 3.06 (Registered) under Win XP. Today I noticed 11 (2 minutes apart) autosave files with the .abl extention. Since this is my Autosave .cfg file I was wondering why this is happening. [user] Interval=120 Files=1 [Files] Next=1 1=Sun 113928 Thanks for a Great program
