  1. Spad is the way to go. My radio panel is much more responsive. Don't even load the saitek drivers because they sometimes cause conflicts.
  2. I started flying the default mooney bravo and was having problems setting the flaps. With my switches, I could only move them full up or full down. I checked my FSUIPC setting and it was set for incremental. I fought it for an hour last night then gave up and shut down the computer, About 15 minutes away from it, I got the idea to check all my settings. I am running FSUIPC and Linda because of the additional switch commands Linda has that I could not find on FSUIPC like lights on and off, rather than simplyt toggle. I went down and checked to make sure my yoke was disabled in FSX. It was. Then I went to Linda and sure enough, both Linda and FSUIPC were controlling the button assigned to flaps which must have been giving two commands to the one switch operation causing them to go full instead of incremental. Lesson one - If you are having problems with a switch, check to make sure the switch is not programmed for the Yoke/ joystick and FSUIPC at the same time (or any other program you may be running such as Linda). Lesson two - When having problems, sometimes it takes getting away from the problem for a while. Usually, the solution surfaces while you are away.
  3. I checked the control and everything was set right. I started looking for the FSUIPC.ini, but could not find it unless it is FSUIPC4 without the ini extension. But in the middle of trying to find it, I went into the calibration again, I reset the settings and wen t to the axis again and set the delta settings and the elevator calibration now works. A CH setup in FSUIPC pdf found in the forum ignored the delta settings so i didn;t do anything with them, at least not intentionally.
  4. OK. Got all that, but the elevator won't calibrate. When i move the elevator on the axis assignm, ent, the movement shows on the in and out boxes. The assignment is set to send to FSUIPC Calibration and the Elevator is selected. But when I go to the joystick calibration tab and move the yoke, the ailerons change if moving left and right, but when pushing the yoke in and out, the elevator settings don't change. All other axis are working fine.
  5. I am trying to get FSUIPC to take full control of my flight controls. I havce disabled the yoke and rudder pedals in FSX. I have assingned the axis with FSUIPC. But when I attempt tpo calibrate I get an error tone when pressing the set buttons. Example: to calibrate the ailerons, i turn hit the set button and the min center and max buttons appear. I turn the yoke to the left and release just a little and click the left set button and the number sets. Then I turn the yoke to the right and release a little and hit the right set button. The nubers don't change and my computer dings as if there is an error. What am I doing wrong?
  6. That is what I was looking for. The hacked keyboard leads on a switch act as if you are holding down the key on the keyboard. the non repeat function would work for what I want to do.
  7. I am using a hacked keyboard PCB for switches in FSX. Because the keyboard will send constant signals to the program if the switch is on, I am plannig on using momentary on toggle switches, but someone told me that with FSUIPC, there is a way of setting a button up to turn it off even though the switch (contact) is still actuated (as if I was holding down a key on the keyboard and not releasing it)? I tried to search and find out oif it can be done before purchasing the program, but I can't find it anywhere.
