    Error 1310 (answered)

Sure, Volker, here you go: 1. FSX:SE 2. FSUIPC 4955 3. No 4. 9.6 5. Default AIRAC cycle installed with FSC. 6. Downloaded from SimMarket today. 7. Windows 10 64 bit
  2. Hello all, I just installed FSCommander 9.6 on my Windows 10 machine running FSX: Steam Edition. When I run FSC.exe, a window pops up that says "Please wait while Windows configures FSC. Then a second window pops up that states: "Error 1310. Error writing to file: C:\Program Files(x86)\FSC9\FSCP3DCFG_V2.exe. Verify that you have access to that directory." I have the option to click on "Cancel", "Retry" or "Ignore". I have tried all three and it results in a long series of additional dialogs with the same message, but different files noted in the error message. If I continue to hit "Cancel" on all of the boxes, after 10-20 times FSC opens up and works. However, when I try to change settings or initiate different tasks, the same series of boxes come up and I have to "Cancel" all of them until it finally proceeds to do whatever I'm trying to do with the program. To troubleshoot, I've made sure I'm running FSC as an Administrator. For what it's worth, I only have FSX:SE installed (no P3D or original FSX). I've also unchecked the "read only" attribute for my entire C drive, where the files that are mentioned reside. While the software does technically function, it's incredibly annoying having to go through 5 minutes of clicking "Cancel" to get it to work. Thanks in advance for your help! -James

    update from fsc9.1 and fsc9.2.1

Hey VolkerHeine, Thanks for answering! That wasn't clear in the original download of the update, and this completely cleared up all the frustrations I had. Oh, and Harry Pola, thanks for taking the initiative!
