Hello Peter, It is me again. Windows 7 stopped functioning due to some driver failure (couldn't find which, Winny wouldn't say and I didn't care) so I had to fixed that and of course rebuilt the whole system. You probably thought I had been rude by not replying to you but I was out of commission rebuilding from the ground up. So, I am sorry about that. Any way, after reinstalling FSX in a fresh Win 7 x64, FSRAAS v2.0 has been working like it is supposed to. So on my end, this case is closed thank God. Thank you for your time, patience and helpfull guidance. PS: MABE54 = MABE5454, by coincidence I changed server provider around the same time so I couldn't retrieve the pwd. Cheers,

My mistake. There is only a reference about Lua Plug-in in the FSUIPC Documents folder. No, it is not. The Lua plug-in is out of topic cause it doesn't have to do with anything of this problem with FSRAAS. There are no programs in the Win 7 Desktop. Just a folder PC-Seldon full of shortcuts in it. There no *.exe programs in the Win Desktop nor in PC-Seldon. None. No mistakes. No. No *.exe files in Win Desktop nor in PC-Seldon. All shortcuts are in PC-Seldon, just shortcuts. I just copied FSRAAS directly into C:\ by itself. No difference. I am looking for something wrong in the Sound drivers and Windows to make sure. Cheers,

No chrashes no sound. I am completely in the dark on this anomaly. I have FSX only in my Desktop (PC) and ussually I go absent from home for 2 or 3 months at the time. Last year I came back around November and this FSRAAS came to be out of the blue. At first, I didn't pay too much attention to it and thought it was a temp glitch of some sort. So now, here I am. Hence, I am trying to go backwards with things that might have changed. The Lua plug-in and the security problem came with/in FSUIPC (for me) at the same time (November). All the above changes came before November but for me they started that month after my absence. I am just going over any changes last year in my mind and reading. Looking for something. At this point I trying, guessing, looking for anything out of the ordinary. My PC keeps working normaly and the only puzzle in FSRAAS (I still have v1.1 and also V2.0 and I get the same results with either one). But it does by the log and consistenly too. No clues about it at the moment. I do not mess around with it, evert. A way to unclutter the Desktop. It has always worked up until now with this FSRAAS. Cheers,

Pete, This is the log with FSRAAS v1.1 (original) running as administrator from its own location (not PC-Seldon). Unfortunatelly it came first with I can't find r4.cvs file while pointing at its own directory where the file is. I which FSRAAS included a neck. After that the program goes without exceptions and you can see the *.wav parading or cascading. But no sounds whatsoever. By the way, chose all WAV files and played them all with Sound Blaster in control. They all sounded but to me like a laughter. Pete, First, I have the sound card of the motherboard (default) and a Sound Blaster on board also. So I switched. Same results. Running FSRAAS directly from its own subfolder. FSX sounds okay with no interruptions or problems. Second, I came across the Lua-plu-in while catching up with my reading. I do not enough to figure out if there is an overlapping with the sound addresses. Third, did the author got a hold of this: http://www.simflight.com/2013/05/05/important-news-for-fsuipc-users/#more-40061 who knows. Still no answers from him. No, I was talking or referring to Simconnect as a black box to me. My frame rates at the time of test has been 29-30 FPS. No Pete. PC-Seldon is full of shortcuts for different programs. My Desktop doesn't have any resident programs in it at all. Before this ordeal everything was launched from PC-Seldon which is what I prefer. Cheers,

Yes but a bit longer story, When I did the first dialog, I started everything from Desktop\PC-Seldon then I came out FSRAAS and reopened it from its location MS_Game\FSRAAS20 without stopping FSX (nor FSUIPC) and that is why you see both in the log. The second Dialog was starting FSX (FSUIPC) and FSRAAS from its location and getting the log up to the point where the exception came up. Except those files were never heard off. Only one time sound: "Approaching" then nothing anymore. He doesn't seem to reply to e-mails. Yeap, the complete black box syndrome. I'll keep searching for the anomally. Pete, The plot thickens. Okay, I have to do it right but I did it too fast in the first Dialog I sent you. Let me explain. The program FSRAAS doesn't install (in the Windows registry) you just unzipped somewhere (I placed mine in the main of FSX as subfolder) and all the files are in it, nothing in the outside of the subfolder. Note-1: Why do I mean by I did it right or it was too fast?: Normally I have a subfolder PC-Seldon in the Desktop for all programs for unclutter purposes. So to do it right and not fast I go to the subfolder for FSRASS in MS_Game (FSX location) and open the program from there and not from PC-Seldon. If I do it from PC-Seldon, FSRAAS comes back saying it can't find r4.cvs file. That is new and weird but it did started at the same time the FSRAAS started not working properly. Starting the program directly from its subfolder gives me better results and doesn't come back asking for the address or location of r4.cvs. Just weird. Every sound wav file sound perfectly in Windows Media Player. I stopped FSX to stop FSUIPC dialog and start a new one. So, I started FSRAAS the right way (directly from its own subfolder) and then FSX again. I thought that would unclutter the dialog file a bit. My bad. I really do not know. I didn't saved the link nor the file then, but Google did. So finally I know where the "Download Links" is. I got the file from the link above by Graham. Any ways, there is no *.ini file included with the download to address the original friction problem and reason for 4.859i. I got lost with all this jumping around links. Regards, MAB

Thanks Peter, The only problem is that when I go to "http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html" the version there is still 4.853 and last site udate was July 18, 2012 11:03 Romance Daylight Time. I've already have that version installed. Am I missing something? Is there some other place/site? Regards, MAB
