  1. Hello, I have FSUIPC Ver 5.124 Is it possible to somehow reset all the adjustments I have made? One more question. Now it is version 5.15 - can I install this witout uninstalling 5.124 (I can' t find any uninstall.exe in the FSUIPC dir) ? BR Lars
  2. I have FSUIPC Ver 5.124 Is it possible to somehow reset all the adjustments I have made? NB I have copied this one to another place on the forum!!
  3. Hello, I have tried to assign and calibrate my CH Throttle Quadrant axis using John Cook's FSUIPC Guide. Allthough I follow the guide to the inch I have a problem when I give reverse from the idle - often only one of the power throttles "jump" to reverse. I wonder if somebody could give me an advice how to solve this problem?
  4. I have purchased FSUIPC5. I have been "struggling" with the user guide. But I simply do not understand the kind of language in which it is written. It would be nice with some kind of "absolute beginners guide to FSUIPC5 and hardware". What I need is a "down to earth" practical guide A-Z. According to everybody in the sim community FSUIPC is a "must" so I hope you can help me so my 3 CH controls will work properly. Thank you.

  6. I am using P3Dv4 and just purchased Twin Otter Extended. I would like my CH Throttle Quadrant to Work as corectly as possible with this new aircraft. In 2011 I purchased FSUIPC 4 and I wonder if this version 4 will let me make a setup for my CH Throttle Quadrant or do I need the newest version FSUIPC5? Also I would appreciate som kind of guide - how to setup FSUIPC and P3Dv4 for a control like my throttle. PS: Upgrade Price for FSUIPC5 (from FSUIPC4)? Best Regards Lars
  7. Hi, Sorry to ask this question here (just for your information I have registered versions of FSUIPC and FSWide that hopefully legitimate me asking here!): I would like to be able to put textlabels (like the ones that is shown in the screenshot below) in my scenery located at defined coordinates - typically a town or village name. I was naive (and probably still am...) thinking that this could be done with a XML file containing the names and coordinates and compiled to a BGL. Allthough I know nothing about it I now think that I have to get connected to simconnect via C++. But I could use a hint concerning in which part of the simconnect interface these things are going on. Somehow my dll-file shall be able to read the data from my townlist and somehow I'm going to "tell" simconnect to show the name-labels in the correct position of the scenery. So far - the only thing I have achieved is to make a program in Delphi and Javascript with the ability to create an address-longitude-lattitude list from an address list via Google Map API 3 geocoding. I hope Mr Dowson or someone else can give me a hint about where to look in the simconnect. I have - off course - the Simconnect SDK dokumentation, but I have not been able to find it yet. Best Regards
  8. Thank you Pete - you solved my problem. I calibrated the left and right brakes in this way... 1. Ticked the reverse box. 2. Pressed the pedals fully forward and pressed MAX 3. Released the pressure on the pedal and made it go about halfway back and pressed MIN. By doing this I also - somehow :?: - fixed the problem with my period on the keyboad that did not function before!! Thank you Pete - you have been a great help for me - now I think I am ready to taxi again! :D NB: Pete - can you tell me why I'm not receiving instant e-mail notification for this topic allthough I "ordered" it?
  9. Thank you Pete and Den! I will have to fix my two profiles in FSUIPC and involve my CH Pro Pedals in these too following the advice above. Doing so I guess I have to delete my CH Pro Pedals assignments in FSX's Control setting? If this not fix the problem I will try the electrical cleaner spray. To which element do I point the spray? (sorry - never done that before). I wonder if you have a solution to this strange problem. (And please dont tell my I have to assign the period (.) through FSUIPC - I have on purpose not wanted to involve my yoke and keyboard in my "Assignment-Solution" because it involves a lot of work with all those buttons.....). /Lars
  10. My CH Pro Pedals does not work well. I have tried to assign/calibrate in FSX and FSUIPC without luck. The brakes are activated without pressing on the period (.) and the differential brakes are too sensitive. If I press both pedals I activate the brakes (is it supposed to be like that?). If I press period (.) the brakes are not released as I would expect. On the other hand if I activate the parking brakes by pressing Ctrl + . then afterwards pressing the period (.) will release the brakes. Should it be so? My right pedal has problems with releasing the differential brake when I release the pressure on the pedal. In fact I have to press my heel in order to release the right differential brake. This is also evident in the calibration window where the little cross only comes half way back when I release the right pedal. I wonder if a pair of CH Pro Pedals can be worn and not function correct any longer?
  11. Thank you Pete. The problem was that the three axis (power, prop, mixture) on my yoke was not deleted. After i did that in FSX the problem was solved. BR Lars
  12. Even though I have assigned and calibrated my Throttle Quadrant in FSUIPC I experience a problem when loading my Turbine Duke in FSX: The Condition Lever (Mixture Lever) is in the aft position on the Virtual Cocpit allthought its in the forward position on my CH Throttle Quadrant. Result: When the aircraft comes to life after loading, the engines stops (the condition lever has cut off the fuel supply). Any solution?
  13. Hi, I'm using the CH's FlightSim Yoke, Pro Pedals and Quadrant Throttle (all USB) in FS2004. I experience a strange problem right now with my CH Pro Pedals. Something has happened to the behavior of my right brake. It does not function anymore: When I press the right pedal down the red sign in the left down corner saying "DIFFERENTIAL BRAKES" is flickering a few miliseconds, and then dissapear and the right brake does not function. The left brake is steady and do function ok. I have assigned the controls within the FS9 and it worked ok yesterday!?!? What happened??? :? I dont think its a hardware problem because: 1) The pedals reacts completely normal when I test them in the calibration program within FS9. 2) I have tried to assign the rigth brake to a throttle on the yoke with exactly the same result. Is it not right to conclude that this cant be a hardware problem (broken wire or something)? Could this problem somhow be related to FSUIPC? What could I check in FSUIPC if so ? Does anybody has an idea to a solution? Best Regards Lars
  14. They did not mention this in either of the e-mails. BR Lars
  15. I purchased FSUIPC in december 2003 and WideFS four days ago. What SimMarket says about FSUIPC in relation to the use of WideFS is this: Note that this version of WideFS needs Version 3 (or later) of FSUIPC, and will not work until it is registered by entering the access key into the registration page in FSUIPC’s on-line options. The above quote is from the webpage. The e-mail from SimMarket did not mention anything about FSUIPC version number. I can mail it to you if you want. BR Lars
  16. Hi Pete, Since my version 3.52 was from ultimo december 2005 I was convinced that this was indeed the latest version. Obviously it's VERY important to have the latest versions of FSUIPC and WideFS because now my FSC (FlightSim Commander) do connect allright. Thank you very much for your help and sorry about all the trouble. Best Regards Lars
  17. Sorry, making the last logfile I forgot to connect FS Commander after srating FS9 (on server) and WideClien (on client). I have done this now and this is the results: My WideClient.log file:********* WideClient Log [version 6.51] Class=FS98MAIN ********* Date (dmy): 08/01/06, Time 18:20:11.633: Client name is PRESSARIO700 421 Attempting to connect now 441 Server = STATION R 451 Trying TCP/IP host "STATIONÆR" port 8002 ... 451Okay, IP Address = 192.168.1.10 461 Connection made okay! 62550 New Client Application: "FSC75" (Id=524) My WideServer.log file:********* WideServer.DLL Log [version 6.51] ********* Blocksize guide = 4096 (double allowed) Date (dmy): 08/01/06, Time 18:55:24.296: Server name is STATIONÆR 38312 Initialising TCP/IP server 38359 Initialising IPX/SPX server 38359 IPX/SPX socket() failed [Error=10047] Address family not supported by protocol family 38359 Failed to start IPX/SPX Server 40078 Broadcasting service every 1 mSecs 40609 Incoming connection Accepted ok (skt=2704) 40640 Connected to computer "PRESSARIO700" running WideClient version 6.510 (skt=2704) 1175406 Error 10053: client socket disconnected at Client: removing (skt=2704) 5130140 Incoming connection Accepted ok (skt=2736) 5130172 Connected to computer "PRESSARIO700" running WideClient version 6.510 (skt=2736) Hope this helps BR Lars (Do not be surprised regarding the last Wideserver.log's date; my PC date was wrong and was corrected before this log was made)
  18. Hi Pete, In the meantime I found out that running FS9 in window-mode makes me see the "Wideserver: 1 connected" text allright. So now I have this situation: both my server and my client gives the message "Connected" in the tittlebars of FS9 and WideCient.exe. But all the same I have this error "Unable to connect to FS" when I try to cinnect FS Vommander 7.5 (on my client) to FS9 (on my server). I have the latest registered version of FSUIPC (ver 3.52) I have the latest registered version of WideFS (ver 6.51) My Wideserver.log looks like this: ********* WideServer.DLL Log [version 6.51] ********* Blocksize guide = 4096 (double allowed) Date (dmy): 03/01/06, Time 16:55:24.296: Server name is STATIONÆR 38312 Initialising TCP/IP server 38359 Initialising IPX/SPX server 38359 IPX/SPX socket() failed [Error=10047] Address family not supported by protocol family 38359 Failed to start IPX/SPX Server 40078 Broadcasting service every 1 mSecs 40609 Incoming connection Accepted ok (skt=2704) 40640 Connected to computer "PRESSARIO700" running WideClient version 6.510 (skt=2704) My WideClient.log like this: ********* WideClient Log [version 6.51] Class=FS98MAIN ********* Date (dmy): 08/01/06, Time 16:55:06.862: Client name is PRESSARIO700 280 Attempting to connect now 1282 Failed to connect: waiting to try again 2313 Attempting to connect now 16904 Server = STATION R 16914Okay, IP Address = 192.168.1.10 16924 Connection made okay! 19. I have FSUIPC and WideFS and both are registered in the FSUIPC. I installed WideServer and WideClient as described in the manual. Bu when I start up FS2004 I do not get a message that WideFS are waiting to be connected as I was told it should be. And I'm not able to connect my FS Commander 7.5 from my client PC allthough when I start my WideClient.Exe after the FS2004 I'm told that "WideClient FS98 Eliminator - Connected". Any solution to this problem? BR Lars
