  1. Hello Pete! Good news after so many months. But corona allows to test,pimp and play the flightsim every day:-) And yesterday, I've solved the problem with my rotaries.lua-configuration: Instead of use the vendor-ID and the product-ID of my Leo Bodnar-card BU0836X I tried desperated a part of the name, in this case: Vendor = "odnar" Product= "0836" ..and voila: while turning the rotaries the UI reads correctly 2 virtual buttons clockwise and 2 virtual buttons ccw (68,0; 68,1; 68,2; 68,3) (had to change the offset in rotaries.lua from 3340 to 3350 because I need the virtual joystick 64 to get buttonscreen-commands from wideclient) Now I try to find out values for the "timer" and the poll rate. Not easy because the BU0386X-card also have a editable polling-rate. Don't know how to get them together... But I'm happy to get rotaries.lua on board - thank You so much!

  3. The joysticks #3, #4 and #5 do not generate axes. I get no axis-assigment while clicking "rescan" in the FSUIPC-interface (axis-assignment) and then turning the rotaries. The field "ignore axis" remains grey/inactive. The #3, #4 and #5 are USB-boards with 32 pins for buttons (www.leobodnar.com). I will play and test this evening, f.e. flash new firmware. But I am sure that my configuration is buggy.
  4. Have changed the entry DEVICE = 3 to DEVICE = 1. But I still read the normal joystick and button numbers in the fsuipc-interface while turning😯

  6. Hi! I have installed installed several HIDs. Some of them are connected to rotaries to adjust VOR OBI, ADF, altimeter etc. Now I want to use the rotaries.lua to get more rotation speed while turning the OBI or the altimeter. I tried different entries in rotation.lua and FSUIPC.INI, searched in this forum, but it does not work. When I turn the knob I get the normal assignments in FSUIPC-window. But turning fast it should be something like joystick 64 button 0, or not? All other HID-operations work fine, inkl. all button and offset assignments. The buttons I want to use for rotation.lua have no assignments, of course! My configs: WIN 10, P3D45, newest FSUIPC reg.   7. Hello Pete! After many years of TCPIP-connection from notebook to my Flightsim-PC I want to install a connection via SPX-protocol. (OK - never change a running system, but this have non-FS-reasons!) But I'm getting desperate - reading the PDF-manual 1000 times did not help. On both PCs is WideFS 6.70 installed. FS9 WINXP ..and: I get a normal WIN-network-connection via SPX between both PCs and in both directions! This should exclude WIN-config-erros, or not?   8. Hi Pete! Thank You very much for your help ! Ok, I'll do it by Your way: 2 TrafficLook, one for ground, the other for airborne. That should work fine. And last not least: I want to thank You for FSUIPC. This great tool expands the possibilities of FS and its hardware: Oh yes, after phases of testing and playing with compound-programming of joysticks it is so easy to get several views (cockpit, extern, all directions) with only 3 buttons!   11. WideFs hangs, and sometimes also the whole system. The notebook has got a brandnew WinXP-installation (only 1 week old, after HDD-crash some weeks before), the WinXP-nstallation cannot be the reason. Entry in WideClient.ini: ... RunReady1=X:\trafficlook.exe ... KeySend1=70,12,RunReady1 KeySend2=84,8,RunReady1 ... KeySend3=70,12,RunReady1 KeySend4=71,8,RunReady1 ...   12. Yes- the menu opens. But after the second key (in this case G or T) the notebook hangs. KeySend1 ist set to ALT-F KeySend2 ist set to key G The ALT-F-combination doesn't exist on the notebook! Oh...good idea. I'll do this if i can't fix the problem. Regards, Gunnar

I've tried almost everything to switch TrafficLook between "GroundTraffic only" and "Airborne only" by Joystick-button via WideFS (keySend) TrafficLook runs on notebook, but whilst using the ALT-F -Key on FS-Computer to get the TrafficLook-menu, the notebook always hangs up:-( Is there a way to switch between the 2 modes of TrafficLook WITHOUT using the dangerous ALT-Key? Any other hotkeys perhaps? Thanks, Gunnar
  14. On my PC taxiing at big hubs is like a slideshow, because there are many objects near my aircraft (buildings, vehicles, signs etc). All these things are not shown during approaches, so the framerate is ok. But on the apron and near the terminal-buildings it goes down. So I need there EACH fps - and the trick (turbolence/gust decreases fps while using much AI) saves some fps (found it somewhere on simflight.com a few months ago). OK, that sounds complicated - but I'm dreaming of a hotkey (like taxiwind-hotkey) to turn off/on the turbolence when ever the framerate goes up/down... Gunnar
  15. Hi Pete! I'm using the newest FSUIPC, FS9.1 and external weather (FSMETEO) To save framerate I have to deactivate all turbolences and/or gusts. The reason: I'm using 100% AI-Traffic, and at big hubs like EDDF, EHAM etc. my framerate decreases to a slideshow, especially while taxiing!!! OK, I should get a new PC:-) But there is a cheaper way: Switching off all turbolences/gusts increases the framerate by 4-7fps, if You are using much AI-traffic. But flying without turbolences is not very realistic, and I'm missing these bumpy approaches.... That means: - I want turbolences while I'm flying. - I do not want them while taxiing. Now my question: Is there any possibility to manage this problem with FSUIPC? ("Supress all turbolences if not airborne" ?!) Greetings from EDLW Gunnar

  22. The "slope"-option is a great option, it is the best solution to calibrate different aircrafts! But there is one prob: My FSUIPC seems to "forget" the slope-parameter for the rudder, which is given by the FSUIPC.INI-file: ...RUDDER: -16256,-512,512,16256/8 The aircraft gets very nervous during takeoff without the "slope". I have to select the rudder-slope manually by FSUIPC-Menu each time after FS9-startup. That's not too much work, but why? The other axis accept the slope-parameter of the INI-file without any problems... I'm starting FS9 with multi-cfg-selection (FS9.EXE /CFG:XXX.CFG) to get different AXIS-configurations for DASH8 and PMDG) All axis are recognized correctly by FS9 and FSUIPC FSUIPC 3.50 FS9.1 Majestic DASH 8-300 CH Flightstick pro CH Pedals CH throttle quadrant Regards, Gunnar

  24. Hello! Why can't I pan to left/right/up/down in normal Cockpit-Mode (2D) with my Coolie-Hat-switch? I get the side views (coolie left=VIEW LEFT and so on...) instead for panning:-( Have deleted all concerning items in fs9.cfg (POV_XYZ....) and my FSUIPC.INI contains 10=R0,34,C65672,0 11=R0,38,C65671,0 12=R0,32,C65734,0 13=R0,36,C65735,0 Panning in VC or extern view works fine. But I never use VCs, I need panning in 2D-Cockpit! I'm flying O.Frolovs Dash 8-300 and A319 from Eurowings prof.   25. Yes, It seems that fsmeteo 6.3 was responsable for the "visibility-bug". Since using the new 6.4 beta, all works fine. Now the weather is nearly the same as shown on airports web-cam!!!
