  8. Hi Peter, I have reinstalled the 4215. I usually "fly" at 15-17 FPS now I am at -+ 10 FPS. Please find some screeshots with the settings. Hope it helps
  9. Hello Peter, First of all Happy2008 !! "There's also a slight cost in terms of FSX performance --difficult to measure, but it is there. Maybe 1 fps or so when the average is 18-20 (as it is on my test system)" I have tested (XP FSX SP2 No ACC) and on my system I have lost 5 PFS... I reinstalled the 420.
  10. Hello, Found following error information in event log after FSX crash . Any recommendations? Thanks in advance

  13. Hello, Before buying your product, one question : :) I have installed many PAI , WOA packages. They all are in the "old" format . 8) If I install the MyTraffic "old" format, update to the "new" 5b will I still have and see the PAI and WOA flights? Thanks in advance.
  14. Hello Pete, FSAutothumbnail disable = OK for FSX to accept the 089 version. I will inform the product provider. FS Earth enabled and OK. BUT at aircraft loading , an other popup coming from FSForce. The product provider is also informed . Have a nice day
  15. Hello Pete, FYI I unstalled FS Recorder, I temporary stopped FS Earth. I loaded the 089 and start fsx = same reaction; FSX closes as soon as I "see" the usual popup to allow FSUIPC . This is the content of the SimConnect0.log: " 0.00000 SimConnect version 0x00000002 0.81086 Exe Launched: Path="L:\FS X Downloaded Files\FSForce\FSForce.exe" CommandLine="/FS" Version="2.0.2.174" 0.81572 Exe Launched: Path="L:\FS X Downloaded Files\AutoThumbnail\Autothumbnail.exe" CommandLine="" Version="1.0.4.0" 0.81585 File not found: Path="L:\FS X Downloaded Files\WheelCam\Wheelcam.exe" 0.81684

  17. Hello Pete, 1/ "Er .. have you never simply told Windows that you accept software signed by me? Then you will never ever get that so-called "usual" popup again from any of my updates! " Each time I install a new version of FSUIPC I get this popup to accept the software signed by you and each time I respond : yes. This time I had no chance to answer !! FSX was gone !! 2/ "BTW what was your "previous version"? Hummm, I do not remember the # !! it was the last available on this site ! I have cut and past the 4.0.8.1 copy available on my FSX backup folder and all seams OK again. 3/"What ot
  18. Hello, When I try to reinstall previous version I have the popup that you see in the previous part of this topic.
  19. Hello, Since the installation of the 088 version , at FSX start I see the "usual" popup asking if I agree to ......., no time to read the entire content, the popup is gone and FSX also , back to the standard windows display.
  20. Hello Peter, I hope I found the problem on MY FSX system : I installed an aircraft (Embraer 170) , this ac provides a Radar Gauge in his panel. I copied this gauge to several other ac (panel) . When I removed this gauge the problem is not there anymoreI hope ! Crossing fingers! 8)
  21. Hello, I have the same error when FSUIPC is NOT installed! Sorry Peter.
  22. Hello, I have the FSUIPC version 4061 running and I was also running the previous versions. Since a few days I have the "fsx.exe Application Error" popup, NOT always! :( In this popup I have mostly always the same Instruction address. I have the feeling that this is NOT the case when I remove FSUIPC.dll . I made several tests without FSUIPC and NO error. I will relaod the last official FSUIPC and see if it happens also. Any specfic test to do? :?:
  23. Hello, I try to improve my FPS , I run FSUIPC version 4.0.3.0. I use Filemon from http://www.sysinternals.com to "see" all the file accesses made by FSX and "see" if there are errors. I found FSX is making a lot of "calls" to FSUIPC , hope this is normal and does not impact FSX performances. I have a copy of the .log made by Filmon. This file is too big and is not accepted in an attached . I can send it via e-mail if you want. Hope it helps
  24. Hello, I did read several times the FSUIPC for Advanced User BUT I still do not understand "how to" program a button of my Joystick. I want to use the button 6 to reverse thrust , I know I have to program : "Idle the throttle, and press F2 several times, or press and hold F2 to use reverse thrust" and also "/" to open speed brakes. How do I program this in FSUIPC.ini? :? Thanks in advance.
