Thanks for your reply Pete. It was most helpful but I'm not quite there yet. The missing joystick "A" was just a loose connection. It's showing OK now. As to the thought that I'm using a different FSUIPC4.ini file than I had, it's not possible. I specifically copied the one out of the Modules folder before I reloaded Windows and it's the only copy I had. I have included a list of the "old" and "new" FSUIPC4.ini files below. My main controller is a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke which contains a serial type port for one Saitek Throttle quadrant and also a small USB hub, where I have the Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals connected. The Rudder Pedal assignments are unchanged. The problem seems to be that the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke (was Joystick "C") with and the second Saitek Throttle Quadrant (was joystick "D") have swapped "Joystick" assignment letters. What was "C" is now "D" and vice-versa. As to why, no clue. No hardware connections were changed. The second Saitek Throttle Quadrant has a USB connection and is plugged into a powered USB Hub. I have the Pro Flight Yoke plugged into one USB 3.0 port on my laptop and the USB hub is plugged into another USB 3.0 port. Would it be a good idea to move the second Saitek Throttle quadrant from the powered USB hub to a USB 2.0 port on the laptop? Perhaps that would fix future problems. Whatever the Joystick assignments settle down to, I need to fix the present problem. I assume the answer is in editing the FSUIPC4.ini file. It appears that FSX has changed the Joystick assignment letters so it probably would do it again if I tried to change the assignments under "Joysticks". Where should I begin, in the Profiles? The main one I'm concerned about is the Flight1 King Air B200. I really don't want to start from scratch. I recently had to do a complete Windows 7 re-install on my PC. I made certain that I had a copy of the present fsuipc4.ini file before doing so. After re-installing the OS and FSX, I downloaded the FSUIPC4.927a. I ran FSX once, then installed FSUIPC. I then replaced the FSUIPC4.ini file in the Modules folder with the one I had saved. I have installed Flight1 King Air 200 and had made a specific profile for it prior to the Windows re-install. The profile sends all axis's to FSUIPC. I've ensured that the box, "enable controllers", is unchecked in FSX options. When I've loaded that aircraft, non of my axis's work correctly i.e., if I use the ailerons, the prop controls move. I opened the axis assignments tab in FSUIPC and the top of the window shows the proper profile. None of the buttons I've assigned seem to function. I have several controllers (Saitek Proflight Yoke & throttle, a second Saitek throttle quadrant, a X-52 joystick, and Saitek Proflight rudder pedals), some of which are plugged into a USB hub.. I had all this working great before I redid the computer. Can anyone give me a clue on where to start troubleshooting? I'd hate to start from scratch on the profile assignments. I'm sure I'm missing something. I've tried to my latest fsuipc4.ini and log file. It tells me I'm not permitted to upload these kinds of files. I used WinZip to upload them instead. FSUIPC Files.zip
