  1. Thanks for help, I changed the INI from the Client as told, and its working again. Strange is only that I didnt change the Client for the last Years, 'only' have to change the main PC? Best Regards from Austria Peter
  2. Thanks for answer, will check in the evening Peter
  3. Good evening! After a long time of absence I have to ask a stupid Question, sorry. I lost my main PC, so I setup th PC new. After installing FS2004, FSUIPC and WideFS in current versions, I registered both successfully, and copy the Backup Files of my FSUIPC.INI and WIDEFS.INI. Setup LAN like before (Static IP 172.20.20.200, Firewall off, Client can ping the main PC (FS_00)) FSUIPC works fine. But I am not able to get a connection from any (unchangesd) client PC to the Main PC. After playing arround for some hours, I decide to ask for help here. I poste the INI file from the Wideserver and the Client, and also the LOG´s Thanks for help. 4. Hello again Works great! After disconnecting the flaps axis, an new offset (I tried 5733) is coppied to 0BDC to FS Flaps. If the Altn Flap system is armed and the switch is set to extend, I count to 16000 very very slow. The value is written to 5733 by my pmsystem and copied to 0BDC by another faster program that I also use for brake override, autobrake, and maximum brake eficency depending on runway condition. 20 Minutes after starting Altn Flaps extending, Flaps have moved to 25 degr. So only the new synoptic in upper Eicas is missing, will check that in the next days. Was a great weekend Thank again Peter Austria
  5. Hi Pete sounds good, I check this if available. peter
  6. So I dont send the IPC logs. Yes you are right, on brakes I do the same as Thomas Richter do in his Autobrake utility, and I set a maximum brake value to limit brake eficency depending on runway condition. On the Flaps I want to disconnect the axis at first, means Flaps error, flaps dont extract. After doing the steps on the non normal CL, depending on aircraft , the Flap value for FS should run very very slowly to a maxium value (on747-400) the value coresponding to 25degrees of flaps. The Count up (or down in retracting Flaps) comes from my software, which also displays the different synoptic in the upper EICAS (for 747-400, i dont know this on 737) Of course I am very interested in a discussion about this, the disconecting feature of fsuipc and the new graphic overlay idea, the first time for the last year I see the chance to build and to develop new things. Best Regards Peter Austria
  7. Hit Pete! Thanks a lot for your quick work. I tried this the last hour, the disconnection works, but I think I didnt check 2 things: First If I write 3 (means Bit 0 and Bit 1) set for Brake diconnection to 341A, the Axis for Flaps and spoilers are disconnected too. This isnt a big problem, I disconnact all 4 axis, and copy them for myself (all 4 of them) But in the Flap axis, the Offset 3414 seems to be the raw data (from -16k to +16k) and the target position 0BDC seems to be the FS Data (from 0 to +16 k). Also I dont know the correlation to the FSUIP calibration (to notches). So the straight forward copy (needed because all axis are disconnected if I write anything to 341A is not working for the Flaps. If disconnection works, I think the other Copy releated problem is not a problem, I can write fixed values to 0BDC. Thanks a lot again Peter Austria PS: transfered this to your Forum
  8. Thanks a lot I am looking forward! Peter
  9. Hello to all I was working with the new (since Ver 3.777) offsets 3416 and 3418 as "copytarget" of 0BC4 and 0BC6 if the Brake axis are disconnectet. They work prety fine for me. I want to ask if there is a posibillity to disconnect the Axis for the flaps too, just working in the same way as the brake axis? If this will be possible, a way to simulate "alternate Flaps" with very long extendig time is opend. Thanks for help Peter Austria
  10. Good evening! I am searching for a possibility to load a situation file in my Fs9.1 with the help of FSUIPC. I hope the english words "situation file" is correct, I only own the german FS2004 and here its called "Flug auswählen". Its the first option in the first menu. I am able to set the Start-Up Situation on Offset 0024 but it only works in startup as the name told us. Can anybody help me please Thanks a lot Peter AUSTRIA
  11. Yes I checkt pm offsets, they dont provide them (splitted for each PC) at the moment. I tryed the offset 542A of course, but I am not able to differece between upper and lower EICAS display. I think I will ask enrico for this improvement. So I will try to send the keystrokes to fs from my hardware, then they will be redirected Thanks! Peter
  12. Thanks for answer The reason why I want to do this is, that in 747-400 I should be able to select the content of the lower EICAS (Normal lower eicas, but could be ND or Upper Eicas too if any fault occours) or also the content of the inbound CRT could be PFD, ND or EICAS. In the 747 the switches are on the main panel located just in front of the pilot and named "CRT Display Controls" In my sim setup the PFD,ND is one PC, the upper EICAS is on a second PC, the lower EICAS is on a third PC. So lets say if I want to change the displayed item on the lower EICAS PC, I have to press the F1, F2 F3key but only on the PC working as lower EICAS. If I have to change the content of the inbound CRT of the Pilot I also have to send F1, F2 or some other Fx key to the PC working as upper EICAS. the pmoffset 04F4 didnt work, because it changes the display on all PC´s running the GC at the same time. So I thougt to do this with the key send command from WideFS. Hope this helps. Best Regards Peter Austria
  13. Good evening! I am working with the feature of WideServer/Client/FSUIPT to send keystrokes from main PC(running FS9.1) to client PC(s) running pmmagenta and Wideclient. This feature works fine. Now I want to send this keys if my Hardware is generating an event (e.g. closing a switch) This event is setting bits in the Area $330F and so on(17byte) which is documented in "FSUIPC for Programmers.doc". While I can observer bits changing here if I press the keys in FS (which are of course installed in FSUIPC for sendkey Widefs) I am not able to set and reset bits over FSUIPC in my own programmed interface. Is this offsetarea ($330F/17) readonly? Thanks for help Peter Austria
  14. Thanks, didt another sesrch, a value of 0.05 will fitt. A very low value, but I cant find anoter solution. Strange isnt it? Thanks again and best Regards from Austria peter
  15. Hi Pete! Thanks a lot you got it, Yaw Dampers are the Problem. I switched them on like in checklists written, and never spend any idea more on them. If I turn them off, all is working fine. The next question is how to reduce the effective of the Yaw Damper. Can you please help me again. In my Aircraft.cfg (747-400 from Pedro Oliveira) there is an entry yaw_damper_gain = 1.0. Is it possible to reduce this? Which Value? Thanks a lot. Best Regards Peter Austria
  16. Good evening! I am using FS9 and FSUIPC 3.71 with 747-400 Aircraft and Project Magenta. I use Rudder Axis, a Rudder Trim Axis and a Tiller Axis, all procedeed by FSUIPC. The Tiller Axis on ground works very fine, also the Rudder Trim is working perfect. The Rudder Axis in in FS9 calibrated to max. Sensitivity, with no zero zone. The Rudder Asis is proceded by FSUIPC, going from aprox. -16000 to + 16000 (OUT) with a small zero zone, and a slope of 0. In Flight if I use the Rudder, I can see the Rudder Position Indicator on PM-lower EICAS in STAT synoptic screen, going to total left or total right position, depending on me feets. BUT the aircraft only reacts a very little bit on the Rudder. So it is impossible to coordinate the Slip/Skid Indication and then BANK pointer in the PFD if Bank Angle grater then aprx. 10 deg. If I use (for tests only) the Trim Knob to allign the Slip/Skid Indication and then BANK pointer, all works fine. In horicontal leveled Flight Situations (without AP) if I press the Rudder Pedals nearly no effect can be observed on the ND Display (Course), but full movement of the Rudder Position Indicator on PM-lower EICAS in STAT synoptic screen. So the efficency of the Rudder is very much lower then the Trim. Can anybody help me with this? Thanks a lot Best Regards Peter Austria
  17. Hello! I have a question about fuel system in fs2004 747 aircraft. (also in the version of pedro oliveira) If engine 3 is up and running, and if I select in offset 2254 (means tank selector for engine 3) the value 3 (means right), fs2004 or the aircraft modell drains tank RightAux first, and if this is empty, it drains the selected right tank. Does anybody know if it is possible to tell fs2004 or the aircraft, that engine3 only drains tank RIGHT, not rightaux? Same for engine2 left and leftaux tank. Thanks for any help. Peter
  18. Thanks, I implement this yesterday, working fine. So at the gate, there is now time to proceed checklist, cdu and so on. peter
  19. Good morning! I am dealing with my own Overead logic. If my 747 is on a gate, external power 1 & 2 is available and on, or APU GEN 1 & 2 is on, I think FS2004 battery should not discard. FSUIPC offers option to etend battery life. Can I set this factor (0-9999) per an offset? I cant find one in "FSUIPC for Programmers" in SDK. If so, I think I extend battery life to 9999 if Ext. Power or APU is on, and switch back to 1 if both are not avail/on. Thanks for help Peter
  20. Thanks a lot Peter! it was my mistake to mix FIXED POINT and double float (both 64bit) I changed datatype dec to double, and now it works fine. Peter Austria
  21. Hello! I like to build my own ruder trim display (trim Axis vie joystick and FSUIPC works very fine). In Offste $2EC0 the Value is given as Float64 in Rad´s. FSinterrogate shows it in propper way. How can I convert this to a byte or to a word (0-255 or 0-65k) meaning minimal value is 0 maximum value is 255 or 65k. I have to do this in VB6 (sorry). I read the example of getting Latitude in SDK section VB, using the Currency as faked 64 bit value. But it seems that I am not able to convert it after reading it without any problem. I am using Code like this: Dim FSUIPC_Dec As Currency Dim FSUIPC_Adress As Long Dim dwResult As Long FSUIPC_Adress = &H2EC0 If FSUIPC_Read(FSUIPC_Adress, 8, VarPtr(FSUIPC_Dec), dwResult)Then If FSUIPC_Process(dwResult) Then Debug.Print FSUIPC_Dec End If End If Near the middle value I got something like -922337203685477,5808 Just a little bit trimming right value jums to 457181508797632,3482 and going on to the right, value slightly increases to 459565997674557,6039 Simmilar by trimming to left only with negativ values. Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot! Peter
  22. Hello! In my 747-400 Cokpit I am implementing the first parts of the Overhead logic. In addition I would have concerning a question the Electric control panel: Which condition (OFF/ON) do the "GEN CONT" Button lighting initially have, i.e. after Battery ON in the cold weather starting? And detto the associated "DRIVE DISC" Button. As per 747 check lists "GEN CONT" Button(s) after first pressing will go OFF and the "DRIVE DISC" on DRIVE. The "GEN CONT" Button will go to ON by pulling the starter switches I think. That the "GEN Cont" Button neither "ON" nor "OFF" does not burn, I think is not possible. Anybody who can help? In FSUIPC words, if I press ON on "GEN CONT", I write a 1 to $3B78, ON will be displayd by monitoring $3B7C for 1. (For engine 1) If I press OFF on "GEN CONT", I write a 0 to $3B78 and LED OFF is iluminated. But after first press of ON on "GEN CONT" until I pull Engine (1) Start Button, what LEDS to iluminate because FS2004 writes a 1 to $3B7C a few seconds after pulling Start Button. Thank you! Peter Austria
  23. Thanks! But what does "Ctrl G" do in FS004? There seems to be a possibility but I cant firure it out. Peter
  24. Hello! I have finished Gear section in my cockpit (747-400) and now I want to figure out what I can do with this. Is it possible to produce some "Gear Faults" by FSUIPC? Until now I only use Offset 0BE8 to control gear up and down. Writing to Offsets 0BEC, 0BF0, 0BF4 seems not to work. So I cant "produce" a gear fault, wich does not move one of the gears. In 747-400 there is the possibility to extend gear by a second system (nose gear extra, main gear extra) if main fails. Does anybody have experience in this system? Or any Ideas? Thaks for help Peter
