I purchased my FSX FScene Total Pack 04/2012.  There have been so many patches that I am confused about which ones are which.  The image below are updates from 10/2012....and the one below that is from the current patch page at the fscene website.  Which are needed and not.  They differ.

I just purchased FScene4X Total. I didn't buy it from Flight1 or Just Flight. I purchased it from FSPILOTSHOP on 04/14/12. At the FScene Patches page updates are shown. Can anyone confirm that I need these patches by my purchase date and vendor?? I think so but wanted to confirm it.:

JustFlight always*) and FSX All Packs

Always "Airport Grounds -color adjusted 1Mb"

I know a fellow in Ontario who got rid of a bridge by making an exclude .bgl using Airport for windows. I have never done it but I think you enter 4 lat/long quardrants that surround the object and this data is used in the exclude file. Seems like its similar to a flatten switch.

Do you have a website? Is your scenery Free or Payware? You can't be too computer illiterate if you can make scenery.

Thank you for your reply seabird. Unfortunately it didn't solve my problem. The small popup is gone but MSFS still fails to load. I have no idea why.

I guess I'll just have to forget about this addon for now.

I tried renaming it as you mentioned and MSFS2004 still will not load. I start MSFS and as it starts to load the popup box stating Flight Simulator has detected potentially incompatible aircraft of software file: FCTrafficBoard2k4.dll I click YES to install it, then about 3 seconds later MSFS stops loading...and closes itself. If I remove the FCTrafficBoard2k4.dll from the modules directory, MSFS loads normally.

Can the author offer some advice? I just downloaded the v2.23 trial version because it seems like an interesting addon...if I can get it to work ;-0

I do have the lastest version of the manual. I think its the best scenery information I've found available. Even is someone does not use FSSM the manual still holds plenty of good information.

That was a good read Mike Sierra! Yes, I think that explanation would be great in the next version of the FSSM manual. I printed the 93 page manual out today and will add a printout of this thread to my FSSM manual binder.
