Got the new USB models but PFC.dll still wants a comm port. Manual has 3 pages lol Is the PFC.dll not even used with USB models?

Anyone here know how to get a COmm port to come up in the PFC.dll page? I don't have a Comm port and it needs a virtual one tied to the USB which is created by a driver it says. What driver?

I have been an electronics engineer. Just don't know the current state of the flight sim market. I want to buy/build my own cockpit and am looking at PFC's stuff. All there new stuff uses the USB with the digital board, but there are refferences to USB to Serial converters. Does Dowson's software use only a Com port? How does it all tie together? anyone with links to pages that will explain? Thanks.
