I have fsuipc 3.60 registered and will be upgrading to 3.65 shortly. Have a question;
Up untill now, I've always used the CH Manager to calibrate my CH Fighterstick, Throttle, and pedals. Everything has worked fine, and I simply assign buttons and switches in FS9 and don't get into anything fancy with axis' etc.
I'm testing a new jet fighter for an add on developer and have just solved an issue with the throttle using fsuipc's controller reset settings.
What has happened is that the developer apparently has used an ICO number lower than the CH Manager sets up, so I couldn't get a firm ICO in the new aircraft. By using fsuipc, and resetting then setting the throttle numbers, I now have the range to get the ICO function I need.
Here's my question;
Assuming I don't want to be changing axis lines or slopes or anything like that, is there any advantage or disadvantage for that matter, in either deleting the CH Manager and using fsuipc to calibrate all the flight controls, or should I just use fsuipc to tweak the throttle and leave the CH Manager in the system as before?
Thank you,
