  1. Sorry about that Pete my fault forgot to install the wide server.dll thanks for your help again first class.
  2. Hello Pete, Sorry about this I am have a problem that I cannot solve. I have looked in the forum but could not find the information I need. I had a system crash and have completly reinstalled all programs. windows FS9 etc but after placing the FSUICP.dll in the modules folder re regeristing the FSUICP and the wide FS when I start FS I used to see at the top the "waiting for clients" but this does not apear anymore and I cannot connect to the other computer. I have the 4 FSUICP files in the modules file the log file tells me all that I have done which aircraft airport etc. But I do not know if or what I might have done wrong I have been using FSUICP for years with widefs and am very happy with the programs just I cannot think of what to do to get it connected to FS again. I hope you can help, I think it's just a small problem. Thanks. Fred.
  3. Hello Peter, OK back to normal I found out that the WideFS computer for some reason had no IP address in the LAN network settings and the TCP/IP had vanished even though I had internet connection. reset the IP address and working perfectly again. I do not know what caused the computer to loose it's LAN TCP/IP settings but that is what caused the problem. :D :D
  4. I have tried deactivating Firewall and Virus programme also tried changing settings, no luck up to now but what is strange I have no problems at all with third computer windows ME it connects as usual just the second computer windows XP is still being blocked by something (main computer). OK back to work again.

  9. Hello Peter, It couldn't be Internet Connection Sharing, could it? I have a SMC Barricade WLAN router. The two computers are connected to the WLAN router with the network cable interface I have only a notebook connected by wireless at the moment to the router. I have another computer that I will test with WLAN and WideFS as soon as I have a bit of time. If you want to send me any WideFS versions to me to try out please feel welcome to do so and tell me the tests you would like me to carry out for you. Thanks again Fred.P

  11. Hello Peter, Here are my settings and the widefs.dll . I see some settings have changed but in the client I still have Use TCPIP=no . I did not manage to connect with TCPIP but after I changed the client to useTCP=No and wrote in the client ServerNode=35491.7538.0.0.XXX it connected up imediatly.Could it be that after connecting up with the IPX/SPX server node that it uses both server and client names to connect. As I did not write in these names or the IP address of the sever in the client config. Please do not look at the frame rates etc as this was just a test I had other programs email etc running at the time. 12. My complement Peter, I connected wideFS not over a direct network but over my internet connection. OK the TCP/IP did not function might have been my firewall etc but with the IPX/SPX client. I tried out the FS flight keeper and connected from both computers with SB to VATSIM. Now the fun has just started. Thank's Fred.
