  1. I should have said a reinstall of FSUIPC. I will delete the joystick references and see what happens. tony
  2. I am using win7 64. In FSX\options\controls the joystick is present. In FSUIPC the rescan button is grayed out, or at times it simply does not pick it up. To be clear, in FSX the joystick works perfectly. In FSUIPC things look crazy. I did clear some registry entries related to joysticks, but this should not make a difference. Do you think that a reinstall might make sense? tony
  3. Fixed it! One of two joysticks had its buttons automatically configured, which interfered with normal throttle operations. tony
  4. As a result of shutting down FSX after an aircraft crash but before FSX could reset and reload, I now have the throttles always in reverse. With or without the joystick, the throttles will always go back to reverse or , in the case of a cessna, in idle. I have done every thing I could think of in terms of deleting files related to joystick function. I've deleted fsuipc, yet the issues still persists. Other than reinstalling FSX, can anyone think of a possible solution? tony
  5. It's intermittent, but at times FSUIPC doesn't see the joystick. However, when I check in FSX, the joystick is there. What might cause this? The only way to get it back, is to unplug and replug the usb cable. tony
  6. win 7 64 control panel reads a joystick button as number 8. Fsuipc reads it as #7. Why? and how can it be corrected. thanks tony
