    When I run MakeRnwys in P3D v5 I get the  error message   Make Runways File: Version 4.91 by Pete Dowson
    Using "LorbySceneryExport.exe MakeRwys_Scenery.cfg"
    ... ERROR: failed to run Lorby program, error=740!
    Reading Prepar3D v5 scenery:
    The CFG file being used is: "C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\SCENERY.CFG"

    My Lorbi produced Scenery CFG file is entitled   D:/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3D v5/LorbyScenery.cfg

    All runway and airport data is being produced but cannot be read by MakeRnwys.

    My P3D v5 is on my D:\ drive.How can I fix this issue.

    Hi Pete, I followed your instructions and yes .csv files are generated, however, I cannot open those files. When I try I get a message in red which says "This app can't run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software published." I am not sure if the message relates to FSUIPC or P3D v4.5+. Can you help or do I need to contact P3D? Regards, Allan Roberts f5.csv

    Yes. I ran the Make Runways from inside the P3D folder. As I say, it runs as normal but when I look at my P3D files I get the same files as you have shown here but without the csv extension. Could there be an error in my file attributes. The strange thing is that when I select f4 from my P3D files, on top of the box that opens it says in brackets - Text Import [f4.csv] Allan Roberts

    Thanks Thomas. I am using version 4.8.7.3. MakeRwys functions as it should but produces no CSV files at all only files as mentioned in my earlier post which seem the same as earlier versions apart from not being CSV files. This problem came to light when I tried to run the database update on PF3. There is no file for this programme to update as it looks for the Runways.CSV file. I have attached my Runways file which seems just like earlier CSVfiles. I guass I can always change the name of the files so that pf3 can recognise them. Regards, Allan Roberts runways.csv

    I have recently reinstalled P3D v4.5 and updated my lorbi scenery file and make runways file, however, when I run makerunways it runs OK but there are no CSV files produced in my p3d folder. There are files shown as f4, f5, g5, r4, r4.bin,r5,Runways Text Document, runways OpenOffice XML spread sheet, runwaysXML Document, t5.bin and t5. I can't find any information online and shall be grateful if anyone can help me as to what I am doing wrong. Allan Roberts

    Thanks Thomas. I do have an old "FSUIPC Wide" programme but as I only use one computer now I don't think that I will repurchase a new version of it. Allan Roberts

    Thomas, my sincere apologies. I was working under the illusion that FSUIPC version 5 was an update from version 4. Stefan put me right and I have now downloaded and successfully installed FSUIPC in my P3d sim Allan Roberts

    Thanks Thomas. I have tried several ways to register including the method you have specified, but, to no avail. My P3D V4 Modules file does contain a "Key" file. Initially there were no key details other than my correct name and email address so after having received your email I copied the registration key details from P3D v3.4 into the P3Dv4 Modules "Key" file. Both "Key" files are now identical. I have not attached copies of both the P3D v3.4 and P3D v4 files from my modules folder for security reasons but I can confirm that the details showing appear correct. Is there anything else I can try or can I register by some other method. I have used FSUIPC for many years (Including Wide) and have never had any issues registering updates before, however, I do accept that the new P3D v4 64 bit programme differs in many ways from the old 32 bit version.     FSUIPC5 Install.logFSUIPC5 Install.log Hi Peter, I have deleted and reinstalled my paid for copies of FSUIPC5.102 but still cannot register it. Install file seems to say all went well with the install but the end of the file has the error message "No FSUIPC entry to check. code 16" How do I solve this and register the product?     Hi Peter,

    I have downloaded the latestFSUIPC5 Install.log version of FSUIPC but cant get it to install correctly and it will not register. FSUIPC shows in P3d V4 but as an unregistered version. Install log attached. I also get a virus warning when I try to install. I have used FSUIPC for many years successfully. Can you help please. My registration details are the same as for previous versions and if you require any further information please let me know.

    Thanks everyone. I seem to have quite the wrong end of the stick - my sincere apologies. I did not fully understand what FSUIPC was used for but now have a better understanding. I seem to recall seeing somewhere that a re write of Aivlasofts EFB is going to be available soon but would need FSUIPC to run, however, I will cross that particular bridge when and if that transpires to be the case. I think that is where I have misled myself. I have now managed to get both screens up and running with the EFB on my secondary screen. For the record I am running Windows 8.1 with two screens connected to one PC. I have an n'Vidia 580 graphics card and a Pentium i7 chip with 16mb of RAM. Everything seems to run OK on Windows 8.1 including PMDG's 737NG and 777-200LR. Regards, Allan R

    Hi all, Forst time post and new user of FSUIPC Wide. I have been having crashes of FSX since loading the FSUIPC Wide. The following is a log file from Wide Client; "********* WideClient Log [version 6.999b] Class=FS98MAIN ********* Date (dmy): 15/11/13, Time 15:14:46.116: Client name is ALLAN-PC 891 Attempting to connect now 891 Trying to locate server: Need details from Server Broadcast 891 Failed to connect: waiting to try again 891 LUA: "C:\Users\Allan\Downloads\Initial.LUA": not found 2891 Attempting to connect now Connection does not happen. When FSX is put in the systems tray it cannot berestarted. I am not sure if this is a related problem or not. The main reason for me wanting to use two screens is so that I can have Aivilsoft EFB running on one while using PMDG's 737 and 777 aircraft in FSX on the other. Any ideas as to how I can correct the problems? Allan R
