  1. I didn't purchase FSUIPC, so I use an unregistered version !! I thought, that this is the problem and now I'm sure !! So..I will go to purchase your really nice and helpful Program :-)
  2. Hi Pete (and all others, of course) !! I have a general question respectivley FSUIPC. I use FSUIPC in connection with c/c++ and alltogether it works fine !! But before I start my programm I always have to start your UIPCHELLO.exe (for initialising I think), written in C...if I do not so, I'm not able to read/write anything from/to the FS2004 !! So....what can be a reason for this fact ??? Thanx a lot...Paschu
  3. Hi ! Does anyone know if it is possible to access the offsets for the different kind of views (e.g. tower view, cockpit view etc.) and if so.....maybe you can can tell me, which tese offsets are..!? I was searching the offsets with FSInterrogate but since there are over 1200 attributes, maybe i overlooked it.. thanx a lot...Paschu
  4. Hello all together !! By using the small but great Programm of P.J. "FSInterrogate" I found something for display Text in the FS...there was written following : "128 byte area, containing messages intercepted by AdvDisplay (if running). Also, can write messages for display here, then set delay/scroll option in 32FA." In general it's clear for me but I don't no what is AdvDisplay !! Is it another small prog or just a parameter I can set (and if so, where can I found it...) Thanx a lot...Schu
  5. MANY THANXXXXX !! Maybe I should change my signature from 'think twice' in 'look twice' Paschu
  6. Hello guys, hello Peter !! I have a gengeral question about FSUIPC. Im using it (free version, not registered until now) in connection with c++ (with help of the accordingly interface) and altogether it works fine (i.g. I can read from/write to FS2004) ! But when I start my Program, the shell which is coming up is the active window and the FS is delayed....i can use my Program and it works fine, but I can only use it as long as the (shell-)window is active. As soon, as the FS-window is active, I can't use my Prog (especially some inputs via keyboard are not possible) !! So my question is....is it because I have an unregistered version or because I have not much experiences in C++ (I'm more or less a newbie, "learned" programming with Java) ?? Maybe someone can tell me and/or gimme a tip...I would be really pleased !! thanx a lot....Schu
  7. Hi ! I have a question and hope that anyone or at least you (Pete) can answer it, because you've a very detailed knowledge of the FS . My question is....is it a possible, to set the visibility of MY own aircraft to non-visible (maybe a parameter or a trick) ?? It's important for me so maybe someone can help me :? thanx a lot...Paschu
  8. Jippieehhh !! Thanx to all who helped me with respect to this thread !! Now it works and the values make sense !! The last fault i detected was a human one...I just typed in one number to much (100011750 instead of 10001750), that's why the value was a little bit small !! But now it works and the values are right accordingly to the values in the FS2004 !! Thanx a LOT !! Paschu
  9. Yes I think so  ....I've never heard about Latitude with dimesnions of e+008 ! But the other one seems a little bit small... ...but probably it's the right one !!
  10. Hey pellelil...thanks a lot ! It seems to working, but nevertheless I have another question (I hope it's the last one  ) I read out the the value using _int64...no problem ! After this I calculate the decimal value like recommended by you...but the value I get by calculating seems to be a little bit high !! It is something like 2.56008e+008 !! So I calculated it like recommended in Peter Dowson's "FSUIPC for Programmers", i.e. 8-byte-integer-value*90/(10001750.0 * 65536.0 * 65536.0)...after doing this I got a really small Value like 5,343758 !! So...I'm not sure which value is the right one and/or if I interpret something wrong !! Maybe you can help me or givbe me a tip another time !? Thanx...Paschu
  11. Thanx Pete, I think, that will work....but are you sure that I can read out the hole 64-bit-integer-value from the FS2004 ? I think at first I have to read out the stream (as char) and then to convert it anyway into integer (which is not so easy i think) Please tell me if I'm right (or totally wrong) !! Thanx...Paschu
  12. Hello ! I know that it's written in the document "FSUIPC for Programmers", but I don't really understand... How I can convert the values of the coordinates ?? For example...I have the following coordinates of the airport : Longitude Low: 0 4 4 -10 (32-Bits) Longitude High: 25 -104 125 -63 (32-Bits) How I can convert to the value shown in the FS (in this case: W87 * 54.17) ? Thanx a lot...Paschu
  13. Not at all...but I have only less experiences with the f... Windows command shell and of course with the FS2004...that's my problem !!
  14. Hello and thanx for answering again  I tried all you said and sth. that was written in the (really short) Documentation of Mark Burton....but I'm still unsatisfied Following happened: I compiled the Test.java as recommended...worked fine The I typed in following line : I did it this way (fsuipc.jar is now in the same folder like Test.java), because it was written in the Docu and I just tried ! However no Error occured but the result wasn't very well....most Values had a value of 0 (respectively 0.0) which seems to be a Default-value and a few others even are empty (f.ex. ID, Name, TestFlightSim)....that's why I come to the conclusion, that I'm yet not connected to the FS2004 via the interface !??? Ohh...and when I type in following the same error is displayed as before.... WHAT AM I DOING WRONG ?! Can't believe... Thanx...Paschu
