Hi all Apologies if this topic has been raised before, but many users (me included) are suffering random joystick disconnects in Prepar3d v 2.0/ Win8 or 8.1. Lockheed Martin are aware of the problem and are working on a fix for 2.1 but this could take a while and for me the sim is unusable asis (disconnects on changing planes mid flight, going to a new airport, loading a flight etc). A number of posters have reported that assigning joystick controls through FSUIPC solves the problem, but this doesn't work for everybody apparently. Is there a definitive answer? I would happily register FPUIC if this would definitely solve the problem. Help much appreciated Hendrik
