Hi, I am using FSUIPC. Version 3.98a in FS2004. I am not receiving any text messages when in Cockpit View other than AS-V6.5 The option of single line messages in FSUIPC is ticked. This was working normally until I uninstalled FS9 and FSUIPC now the problem has appeared. Any assistance would be appreciated thanks. Peter, I finally solved the problem by uninstalling FS9 and FSUIPC together with Squawbox 4, the text line now appears as previously. I cant say I understand why this problem occurred or why the reinstall solved the problem. Thanks for the assistance. Regards. John. :)

Pete, Thanks for the quick reply - I will gothrough the FS Settings again but there are no messages appearing scrolling or otherwise as there were before I reinstalled. Regards. John.

I have been using FS9 with a reg copy of FSUIPC and also SB4, messages were scrolling across the screen and appearing in the Text Box of SB4 without any problems. now following a reinstall of FS9 the scrolling has stopped but the messages appear in the text box. What should the settings be in FSUIPC to give the single line text messages please, I didnt uninstall SB4 only FS9 and downloaded a new FSUIPC module and registered it. I really would appreciate help with this problem please. :(

Peter. Thanks for the rapid reply, I think you are right I may have to find out if there is an extra gauge to use. Its unfortunate that I can no longer find a download of SB3 on any of the sites, that would have solved the problem.

I have been using FSUIPC 3.85 (reg) with SB3 and FS9 for a long period without and problems. Due to changing my Hard Drive I did not have a copy of SB3 and had to download SB4. I find now that the single line text with SB4 only shows persons logging on and off. it is not showing messages sent to me or from me, no other text messages appear. I have put a queery on the Squawkbox Forum but there has been no reply, any ideas as to a solution please. :?

Having used this for some years without a problem, I find suddenly that when I activate the dll from modules in FS9, I lose the dashboard which turns to a black screen. I have downloaded a new dll from this site, but still the same problem.I notice also if I drag the display box to a new position, I see multi boxes as it moves these disappear when I release it. This problem occurrs with all the aircraft that I have loaded... Any advice regarding this would be much appreciated. Cypilot. :cry:
