  1. Nope, .. I don't misunderstand anything. Real Traffic HAS ALWAYS been provided free for add on Airports in Tower 2011, so, nothing different here. So, once you purchased the Real Traffic addon, .. there were no additional charges for new airports. Why would that change for Tower 3D? Cheers Tom
  2. Yup, .. I remember reading something similar as well, .. where it also was said that when new airports were released, the Real Color update for the new airport(s) would be free of charge. It looks like they did a 180 on that one. :( $10 for Real Traffic? .. OK, .. but I thought that the Real Color addon would also be about $10 or so, .. but, that it would cover ALL the default Airports, and that going forward, .. New Airports would be released with a FREE update to Real Color. So, you spend $30.00 for Tower3D, .. now you have to spend another $31.00 to get Real Traffic and colours for the traffic at the default airports. !!! I hadn't bought Real Traffic yet, .. as I was waiting for the Real Color addon to be released. Looks like I will have to live without Real Traffic .. :( Whilst I don't mind paying for new airports, as per Tower 2011, .. I have an issue with having to buy an Airport AND then another addon to get colours on the Aircraft. I never purchased any Real Color addons for Tower 2011, .. and it didn't really need them (aircraft size too small) .. Tower 3D needs them.!!! SO, .. what it looks like, .. going forward, .. that with any new Airports, you're going to have to buy the Airport AND Real Color for it. Sure, there'll be some overlap, .. but, there will be one or 2 aircraft that are plain white, .. and you'll need to spend another $6.99 .. JUST to get those 2 Aircraft in the right colours. Unfortunately, .. Tower 3D is turning out to be a real money sponge, .. and with currency conversion, .. very, very expensive. :( .. and we haven't gotten to the PRO version yet. !!!!! Cheers Tom
  3. What ? .. this doesn't make sense .. are you saying that we need Real Traffic PLUS additional addons to get the proper Airlines colours at the default Airports? and, .. if so, .. why does the info for Real Traffic say this .. "Real Traffic brings realistic schedules, airlines and visuals to Tower!3D" .. what does the visuals part of this imply .. ? Cheers Tom
  4. Hi, I can't recall if "17_incoming" was missing, .. or, if the altitude was incorrect/switched around, .. or, if the type was incorrect. If you have a decent text editor, .. then, the best way to fix it, .. is to copy the lines below, .. and paste them into your .. Philadelphia_Airfield.afx file. Obviously, if you already have a "17_incoming", .. then make sure you overwrite that entry. Alternatively, .. just check your entry with my one. 2 important things to look for .. i.e. "type=6" and, z="3000.000000" (make sure it's on the 2nd line of the entry, .. and NOT the 3rd), .. if it's there at all. <road name="17_incoming" filter="" type="6" direction="1" width="150.000000" detail="10" tangent="0.500000" radar="0" roundflag="0" knotsnum="2"> <knot x="-5654.413086" y="-44399.996094" z="3000.000000" gatetype="0" gateroad=""/> <knot x="1099.352783" y="-1307.767334" z="0.000000" gatetype="0" gateroad=""/> </road> Cheers Tom
  5. Hi Vic, I had tried a few times throughout the day with with IE and Chrome, .. without success. .. I've just tried again with Chrome, .. and it went through .. :) Might have been a DNS issue somewhere .. ?? Thanks .. :) Regards Tom
  6. Hi, Anybody tried making any purchases today from FeelThere ?? .. been trying to buy KSAN for Tracon for most of the day, .. and can't connect to bmtmicro to complete the purchase. Just wondering if anybody knows about any problems with the site. Thanks .. Cheers Tom
  7. Hi Gareth, Sometimes this is not always a problem in the airports.txt file. It can be that an Airlines' IATA/ICAO are mismatched with what is either in the airlines.txt or schedule.txt file The only way to really find it, .. is to check in the tower.log file. See which airline/flight no. is giving the problem, .. and check for it in the schedule.txt file See what the IATA and ICAO codes are for that Airline/Flight no., .. and reference them in the Airlines.txt file. Either change it in the airlines.txt file or schedule.txt file. I've attached my schedule and airlines txt files for you to try, .. if you can't figure out which Airlines are causing the problem. Cheers Tom tom_schedule.txt tom_airlines.txt
  8. Hi Dick, Don't forget .. KEYW, .. and, I would say that it's probably the one that really needs a schedule creator, .. as it ain't that active, .. flightwise. Cheers Tom
  9. Hi, Did you read thru this thread?, .. pretty sure you'll find an answer there. :) Cheers Tom
  10. Hi, The RJ1H airplane has the correct image, .. and is not the problem. The problem is because of some weird bug with the PlaneEd program, .. which doesn't seem to load or save the correct aircraft type or code. If you run PlaneEd, .. and load the AR1.apx file (RJ1H), .. you will notice that the Plane Type and Code both indicate AR1, .. which is correct for the aircraft. However, .. if you use a Text Editor, to open the AR1.apx file .. you will see that the aircraft type and code are incorrect i.e. airplane type="ARJ" code="ARJ" class="2" Change these 2 fields to AR1 .. and save the file. The correct Aircraft BAE-RJ100 will now be displayed. In the Tower.log file, .. you will notice that BEL2102 now has the correct aircraft type. BEL2102 - STATE: Waiting Create airplane: BEL2102 type: AR1 code: AR1 category: 2 class: REGIONAL JET .. previously, with the incorrect Aircraft Type and Code it displayed: BEL2102 - STATE: Waiting Create airplane: BEL2102 type: Regional_default code: DEFAULT category: 2 class: REGIONAL JET .. which is why the wrong aircraft image was being displayed. So, just manually edit the AR1.apx file, .. change the ARJ to AR1, .. and you should be good to go. :) I've uploaded my corrected AR1.apx file, .. in case you didn't want to edit stuff. Make a backup of your original if you want to play it safe .. ;) Cheers Tom AR1.apx
  11. Hi Again, Ok, .. so I just purchased EGLL, .. and it's all working fine, .. however, .. I noticed that IT DOES NOT INSTALL to the correct directory. The installer inserts a space between Feel and There. i.e. Feel there, .. which IS NOT the default directory, .. it should be without the space. i.e. FeelThere Caught me out, .. as I couldn't figure where the hell it installed to, .. as it wasn't in my default \FeelThere\Tower! 2001\ directory. Anyway, .. once I removed the space from the install, .. it all went where it was supposed to. I started Tower, .. loaded 'Heathrow' .. and it all loaded up fine. Cheers Tom
  12. Hi kgmann, I haven't purchased EGLL as yet, .. been a bit disappointed in the quality of new airports recently. e.g. ADIRS misalignments, issues in the errorlogs etc.. It sounds like an incorrect filename somewhere, .. which I have had happen before. Look in the \Tower! 2011\menudata folder, .. there should be a file in there, .. called something like .. menu_map_EGLL.map (or similar referencing EGLL) It can be edited with a text editor etc.. Check this file and make sure what the filenames should be .. e.g. see below for KDFW The 3 lines with a texture name are important, to call the correct tga files etc.. Make sure that the filenames reference actual files that exist in the same folder. You can either rename them in the menu_map_EGLL.map file, .. or rename the files themselves. Name=Dallas MapName=Dallas_Airport MapCode=KDFW GMT=-6 NameTexture=MenuData/menu_text_airport_KDFW.tga MapTexture=MenuData/menu_map_kdfw.tga InfoTexture=MenuData/menu_new_game_info_KDFW.tga If you can't figure it out, .. post the first 5 lines or so of the menu_map_EGLL.map file, .. and maybe I can see what the problem is. Cheers Tom
  13. I agree, .. I use smaller aircraft icons in Tower 2011, .. and it's much more manageable and easier to pick out Aircraft in a bunch. :) Cheers Tom
  14. Hi Vic, Sorry, .. meant to mention .. this is on Windows 7 64-bit. Cheers Tom
  15. Hi, I don't use the default Anna TTS, .. I use VW Paul. It works fine with Tower 2011, Tracon 2012, .. and all other TTS based software that I use. Whenever I run Tower 3D, .. it uses Anna, and not Paul, .. and when I exit Tower 3D, .. my TTS has been reset to Anna, .. which means I have change it back to Paul every time. Thanks Tom game.log
  16. HI Feelthere, Firstly, .. thanks for the sale, .. only bought Dubai as it's the only addon I didn't have. :) However, .. the ad says .. All Feelthere ATC products are $9.99, .. yet some are not marked at $9.99. e.g. London and Frankfurt are still marked at their normal prices. :???: .. what's up with that .. ? Vic, .. if you read this, .. you never got back to me about my 'London Reloaded' query. http://forum.simflight.com/topic/76557-london-1-london-2-to-london-reloaded/?hl=reloaded Cheers Tom
  17. Hi, The only way to clear the jam, .. is to use DELETE command e.g. DELETE AAA123, to DELETE one of the aircraft involved in the jam. There is a penalty of course i.e. -200 points It's discussed on page 44 of the Tower manual. Cheers Tom
  18. Hi, Thanks .. :) Here's 3 SIDs that need adjusting .... DUMBARTON 6 - segment 5 (or 4.5 (can't recall)) .. should be 1400.00 .. not 14000.00 GAP5 (NOT GAPP 5) - segment 6 .. should be 39000.00 .. not 390000.00 (unless this is used for the Shuttle Missions .. ;-) ) SUNOL6.ECA - segment 21 .. should be 15000.00 .. not 150000.00 Cheers Tom
  19. Hi Vic, Cool, ... thanks, .. it would be much appreciated. Regards Tom
  20. Hi All, The Northern California Sector for Tracon has been released. (KSFO, KOAK & KSJC airports) http://www.feelthere.com/778_north-california-sector-for-tracon-2012.html Enjoy .. :) Cheers Tom
  21. Hi Feelthere (Vic?) Is there any way to update/swap my London 1 and London 2 sectors for London Reloaded? I assume that London Reloaded just has 1 Sector file, as opposed to the Lon.asx and Lon_2.asx I have now. I've made quite a few changes already to the Lon.asx file, and now have to make those same changes to the Lon_2.asx file. :???: Having just one London sector file, would make further/future changes much easier, not too mention that I would have access to all 5 airports in one session. :) Currently, I can play with either EGLL & EGKK ... OR ... EGGW, EGSS & EGLC ... but not all 5 together. Please advise Thanks and Regards Tom
  22. Hi Mike Are you saying that you don't have a London/Lon/Lon2.pdf file? I bought London 1 (EGLL,EGKK) and then London 2 (EGGW,EGSS,EGLL) as separate addons. I have a Lon.pdf file and a Lon2.pdf file. As all 5 airports are in the London sector, .. the Handoff frequencies are the same. I've attached the Lon.pdf file to this post. Be advised, .. that the London West Handoff frequency indicates 126.7, .. however, it was set up as 126.07 in the sector data, with my addons. I edited my London sector to reflect 126.7 .. easy to do with the AirspaceEd.exe program. Cheers Tom -- * edit: Tom, please don't post copywrited material, thanks. -d.scobie (aka, scoobflight) --
  23. Hi Mike, They are in the \Tracon! 2012\Manual folder, .. in pdf format. There should be an image on the 1st page with the Handoff Sectors and their Frequencies. Cheers Tom
  24. Hi, What does this mean exactly? I previously bought London 1, and just recently London 2. Unfortunately, the London Reloaded option was not available. London 2.0, I assume, is the same as Reloaded., .. or am I missing something? When you say "existing customer", do you mean Tracon itself, .. or, as someone who already has London 1? Does London 2.0 include any fixes to London 1?, .. as there are a few errors with the sector data, missing waypoint links, incorrect nav points etc.. Thanks Cheers Tom
  25. Hi All, Thought I'd mention that the 2nd Sector for London has been released. http://www.feelthere.com/771_london-sector-2-for-tracon-2012.html Enjoy ... :) Cheers Tom
